Unless you've been living in a vault these past few weeks, you'll have noticed that we have shifted the focus of our site in the direction of Fallout 4, whilst also strongly supporting Elder Scrolls.
Now that the rosy glow of E3 is over, we need to start planning and preparing for the release of Fallout 4, and doing all that we can to ensure that we position The Tamriel Vault to be the best and most exciting Fallout site on the Internet.Â
That work starts now! And as a result we are now actively seeking people in the following roles:
1. Content Writing We need to start pumping out Fallout content. This means lore articles, news features, roleplay ideas, stories and so on. I would like to have a 'team' of 4-5 people who will work with myself and Emer, who will write regular articles (by which I mean about one article per week). This will promote Fallout on the site, and do wonders to increase our ranking with Google for when people search for Fallout content. If you are interested in this role then post on this thread or send me a PM.
2. Hosts Currently we have a couple of host slots available for the right people. I am looking for someone to lead the Fallout Lore Group, and a second host for Fallout Roleplay. To be a group host you need to be even more committed than a content writer, as you will need to be here most days and be active in your group, starting discussions, adding content, moderating other people and so on. If you have an unhealthy interest (lol) in Fallout lore or roleplay, and are interested in one of these roles, then again post here or PM me.
3. Social Media Advocates This is a different and unusual role that might suit some people! I am looking for a small handful of people who will promote The Tamriel Vault across the Internet. This means Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, as well as places like Bethesda Forums and Reddit. It will mean being very active on those networks, posting according to their rules (not spamming!!) and advocating for our site as the opportunity arises. We will provide you with a signature banner that you can use to promote our site. This role may seem a bit strange, but - trust me - this helped a LOT when The Skyrim Blog first got started!
We are also actively exploring developing a partnership with one or more prominent YouTube content creators in the Fallout genre. We hope to be able to make an announcement soon on exciting plans for this - whereby we will feature videos about Fallout here, in return for them plugging our site on their channel.
If you have any interest, or questions, about any of these roles (or indeed any other ideas for promoting the Fallout part of or site) then please post in the comments.
