Greetings Skyrim Bloggers. Yes, its me - Paul, with an important announcement for the future of The Skyrim Blog.
A couple of days ago Emer reached out to me to enquire whether I would be interested in becoming involved in the site leadership again. Interestingly, I was, at the same time, approaching him to see whether he had reached the point where wanted to hand the site back to me.
It seemed we had synergy to make something happen...
So, after discussions, I am here to announce that, as we go forward, Emer and myself are the brand new co-owners of The Skyrim Blog.
You might say this is the best of the old combined with the best of the new. I have no problem being thought of as 'the old', by the way! Not only am I one of the more senior people here, newer people may not be aware that I started this site in 2011 and ran it until handing it over to Emer in June 2013.
Like many of you, I have watched the recent developments on the site with great sadness. Whilst I have a busy life and lots of reasons not to plunge headlong into the breach, there was no way in hell that I was going to see on the sidelines and watch this site tear itself apart. Hence, my decision to become fully involved in this new - and I believe - very exciting way.
I won't say a whole lot more now, as this post is really just to make the announcement. Over coming days I will be making a series of front page posts that will outline some new plans, exciting developments and - yes - changes to the site.
Onwards and upwards, people

Guess I should be a little more active on this site
Just make sure you announce the next announcement before you announce it. This blog needs more announcing
