WEEKLY POLL Which is your favourite trap in Skyrim?

  • Hello Skyrim Bloggers - welcome to the latest weekly poll.

With well over 150 polls in the archives, it's hard to come up with fresh ideas for polls - but we've got one this week that's never been done before. Inspired by a thread in our forums, this week we ask: Which is your favourite trap in Skyrim?

If you are a bit vague about which trap is which, here is a link to the relevant page of UESP, from where I took the poll options. There are actually more types of trap than I'd realised! Some of them are relatively obscure and I can barely remember seeing them, so a reminder is helpful...

OK, so get voting, and please do add your comments below..

I personally like the spike wall. It was the first trap I really used effectively against enemies, namely the restless draugr in Bleak Falls Barrow that wakes up at the end of the hallway after the first draugr chamber. It's always satisfying to fire an a...  more

So I keep voting for different traps each time I can "re-vote". Currently the Skull Ram is my favorite as it is both hilarious and the damage is impressive.

In the Pelagius wing of the Blue Palace, there hangs a chandelier. You can hit your head on it. If you don't move quick enough, the chandelier deals mega damage.
I've died by banging my head against candelabra. Best trap ever? Obviously

I love the mammoth skull ram, but those falmer claws really surprise you... and the dwarven ballistas can really get ya! And those ceiling spikes are a real shock when you first rocket into the ceiling, but so are those spike walls... and it's really fun ...  more

YES! So glad this is a poll. Spike Wall is probably my favorite for the "oomph" factor, but I also love the Bear Traps since we can move them, too, Spinning Blades since they are a big ouch, and the big Skull Ram.

The claw. I always jump, mentally, when that thing hit me in the face.
