HIDDEN GEM The Avatava

  • Howdy, and welcome to this week’s installment of the Hidden Gem Spotlight! Honestly, I’m not sure what series of unfortunate events kept this build from going Mythic the week it was released . One way or the other, we felt it was high time this gem was brought back into the light of day where it belongs. Ladies and gentlemen we are proud to spotlight…

    ...The Avatava by Phil!

The Avatava is the mortal avatar of the Yokudan goddess of winds and birds--Tava. Phil remains faithful to the concept whether it’s through his choice of wind related shouts, the bird imagery found in the Avatava’s elven armor and warhammer, or the Avatava’s eventual transformation in to The Firebird… a beautiful phoenix of divine retribution!

In addition to fantastic aesthetics and lore the build is amazingly versatile, perking One and Two-handed skills for offensive flexibility; utilizing the Block, Light Armor, and Restoration trees for survivability; and masterfully employing Destruction’s fire runes and flame cloak for offensive and aesthetic effect. The Avatava not only has an answer for just about every dangerous situation, but also boasts two-part gameplay and provides a highly engaging (and topical) list of essential and recommended quests.

Folks, if you haven’t taken a look at Phil’s Avatava yet, follow the link and give it a read. It’s not just an amazing build… it’s a work of art!
