XBox version of Skyrim leaked

    Two members of our site have contacted me with the news that the XBox version of Skyrim has been pirated and uploaded to some torrent sites. I have verified this story from various sources via Google.

    Apparently people with a modded XBox can get around the software protection and play the game. I suppose it is only a matter of time before huge swathes of this start to appear on YouTube. Most of it will doubtless get pulled by Bethesda quickly, but its probably going to be like trying to stop a river with a bucket.

    For the avoidance of all doubt let me say this, and say it very clearly.

    Anybody who uploads or links to the pirated content, or links to the torrents themselves will be instantly removed from the site, their IP blocked and they will be reported to their ISP.

    No discussion will be entered into over this matter. This is the policy of the site. Period. Either deal with that or feel free to find another Skyrim community. Do not start up blogs trying to challenge this policy, they will be removed.

    That's just horrible and disrespectful! By buying the games you outright show your support and appreciation of the games. Pirating is illegal and a big slap in the face. now i cant look up the youtube videos of skyrim stuff cuz for some reason i cant watc...  more

    Pirate copying any game deserves a prison sentence.
    Pirate copying SKYRIM deserves a death sentence!!

    I say thank you for posting this.  I think that you cannot claim to be a true supporter of a game, its company, or franchise without buying the game legally.  All of us who buy the game no matter what the system are pretty much telling the company we love...  more
