Ok, those of you who have been here for a while might remember that we had a fund raising drive last year. This successfully provided the funds to pay for The Skyrim Blog for the remainder of 2012, since when I have been paying for the site out of my own pocket.
The bare facts are that is costs about £300 per annum to provide The Skyrim Blog for your entertainment and enjoyment. That's largely because the site is hosted on a paid-for platform called Ning, and there is a monthly fee that has to be paid for that privilege.
I can no longer afford to keep stumping up the money each month to keep the site here, and would like to raise £300, which would recoup my expenses thus far in 2013 and guarantee that we will be here for the remainder of 2013.
To that end you will detect a new addition to the right hand menu - a Paypal button, which will enable people make a contribution to our ongoing costs. I would like to encourage people to 'chip in' an amount, however modest, so that we can all continue to enjoy this fine site.
Once the requisite amount has been raised the button will be removed (as it was last year) as I have no wish to make a profit from The Skyrim Blog. Nor, before anyone asks, do I want to have adverts on the site.
I hope that we can get this sorted as soon as possible, and thank you in advance for your contributions.

So i asked my parent but they refused.
They said its lost money and the site keeps it for themselfs.
My parents are idiots >
Isn't that what I've just tried to do? Put money into Pauls PP acc? If so then apparently not...
I've paid for things on ebay in the past with this card and had no problems but I've not needed a paypal acc to do that...
I just tried again to make sure...
My card is standard Santander Visa/Debit. I refuse to own a credit card...
