The Blog of the Week

  • It's time for another 'Blog of the Week', and this week Charlie has chosen Collector's Quest by Auroness

Here is Charlie's introduction to the series.

"I think the opening paragraph best sums up what this story is about.

There are many side quests in Skyrim that leave me feeling unsatisfied that there is no follow up or connection to other quests. There are also quite a few really neat locations, that aren't used. Some people have talked about making up their own stories, but if you make it up yourself, you know how it will end, and there is no mystery about what will happen next. So last week I started a project where I pulled together several side quests, some rarely accessed locations, a bit of lore, and created a quest line. I may know what is going on, but none of you will know. Over the next few weeks I'll be posting various stages of this quest, and you can follow along if you wish. Some may want to read one quest at a time and RP the whole thing, and others may be interested in just reading the story that ties it all together.

Though not much of an RPer myself, I have enjoyed just reading the story and following the adventure.

Nice one Auroness! Blog of the week eh? I've seen that you have been busy but I haven't been as active recently so haven't had a chance to read your stuff since your last Steward of the Land entry. I look forward to reading this series, begining right now :)

I have part one to this bookmarked - looks like fun.  I haven't started it yet due to a lack of time at the moment, but as soon as I free up a little more time, I'm there.
