Having fun in Skyrim

    We've recently completed an interesting series of polls here on The Skyrim Blog. Over the course of three weeks, I asked our readers which skill had given them the most fun in Skyrim - with separate polls dedicated to each of the three skill schools in the game

    What made this interesting was the subtle definition - we deliberately looked at which skill had given us the most 'fun', rather than which we felt was the most useful or efficient. That led to some lively discussion, as well as results that were somewhat of a surprise.

    If you'd asked me beforehand, I would certainly have expected Sneak to run away with the Stealth School, but I would have definitely chosen Destruction and One-Handed to romp away with Magic and Combat respectively. But that wasn't what happened at all...

    So check out the pie charts below for the results. And then answer me this question 'Does the results of these polls surprise you in any way, and in what way?'

    if you take the least voted skills you get a heavy armored, lock pick that can heal himself and battle undead

    I'm suprised that Archery was the favourite combat style. Personally i love it, but i didnt think others felt the same way.
    I guess there is more Stealth based Archers than i thought.

    It's all about opinions Dieter.
    Two of the polls were won with only just over half the popular vote, and the magic poll with less than one third of the vote. So there's plenty of differing opinions
    That's the beauty of Skyrim. So many differen...  more

    I voted for one of the skills that didn't win for each poll, guess other people have different opinions of what fun is.

    That sounds like a lot of good builds out there (archery + sneak + conjuration). Such as The Spirit Of The Hunt or The Blood Archer. Anyways I am not very surprised, they are all good skills.

    hmm so combine Archery with Sneak and Conjuration and you get a Marksman of questionable morals who uses magical projectiles to down his prey?
