The Video of Week : Gopher's Skyrim Books series

    New Video Host Emer has sent through the selection of this weeks 'Video of the Week'. And he's taken a shine to the new 'Skyrim Books' series by Gopher (of 'Let's Play' fame). The premise is very simple - Gopher simply reads books from Skyrim! But its strangely compelling.

    Here we have one of my favourite books in the whole game 'The Mysterious Akavir'.

    Recently I have taken a liking to the "Skyrim Books" series that Dieter has been uploading. Not many people actually take the time to read through the amazing books that Skyrim has, and these videos provide an excellent alternative. 

    Seeing as no single book stands out more than the others, I would like to nominate the entire series. I believe that it is well worth watching, and will provide an excellent look into the frequently overlooked parts of Skyrim.

    Yeah, the books are no literairy masterpieces but the stories they tell are interesting though.

    Even though I really enjoy the topic of the "Mysterious Akavir", I felt the writing was a little too, umm, simplistic. But Gopher has done a great job with this series!

    I found this book the most interesting Gopher has uploaded so far. It's one of the books in Skyrim that I have actually read.
