Hosting Jobs Available

    Every so often we like to freshen up the Hosting Team by bringing in some fresh people (and, in some cases, removing inactive ones). That time has arrived once again.

    Below is a list of current positions that are available. To be considered for one you will need to be:

    • a member of the site for a few months minimum, with a track record of activity
    • an unblemished record so far as 'keeping out of trouble' 
    • ready to get on with your role over a period of time, and not just disappear in a cloud of smoke in a few days or weeks

    OK here goes:

    FORUM HOST: an additional person to be regularly adding forum topics, and clearing out spam or offensive posts from the site forums

    SKYRIM TIPS & TRICKS This group is current without a host - yet still has some potential. If you agree and have ideas to re-invigorate it, then apply

    BLOGS & STORIES This is work alongside Charlie in keeping things tidy - also running occasional competitions, nominating 'blog of the week' and generally keeping things lively!

    SKYRIM CHALLENGES Another group that needs either reinvigorating or scrapping. If you've got ideas to save it from the axe, then consider applying.

    GIRL GAMERS This is to help out current Host who is away on a University placement at the moment. Obviously you need to actually be a girl to apply for this one..

    VIDEO HOST Basically this involves clearing out off-topic videos, freshening up the 'featured videos' regularly and nominating 'Video of Week' 

    WORLD OF TAMRIEL Yet another 'sleeper' group needing someone to wake it up 

    If you would like to be considered for any of these roles, then tell me on the thread below why you think you are suitable. I will pick people myself, and no discussion will be entered into regarding those selections.

    As for the rest of the Host revamp, I'm going to start changing things around now, and I will post something up later.

    I see the Lore Group as Vix's personal project - he suggested it and has developed it entirely on his own into the wondrous thing it is today. So I'm not going to just appoint someone else - or at least until I've run it past Vix.

    If, by chance, a Lore Host is needed, I would love to apply. I know quite a bit about the Lore of TES (obviously not as much as Vix).

    Since I'm kind of getting back into the swing of things, I'll apply for World of Tamriel and/or Forum Host.

    Okay, I know I'm not the most prestigious member around here, but I've been around here for quite some time, and I visit the blog almost daily.
    I would like to apply for the World of Tamriel group.

    I would be willing to apply for tips and tricks. I know I dont post on it very much but I would be willing to try and jump start it again. I saw someone applied for it earlier so I would try and work with them as a cost host or whatever you decide to do.

    I'd like to at least be considered for a forum host. I've been a member for several months, and although I was absent for a little while, I'm now back and rarin' to go. I'm most active in the forums and Character Building group. I do all my site activity ...  more
