POLL : The highlight of your Skyrim year.

    We're in the final run up to Christmas now, and inevitably you start to get the end-of-year lists coming out

    In the spirit of these 'best of the year' lists, I thought we'd have our very own here on the site. So the poll for over the Christmas period is 'What is your Skyrim highlight of 2012?'. 

    Now remember that Skyrim actually came out in 2011, so the poll assumes that most people got the game last year. But the option for 'I bought Skyrim' is there for those who latched onto the Skyrim phenomenon during the course of the year. But I'm guessing most of you will be ticking one of the other options....

    So, what was your Skyrim highlight? Take the poll and tell us your reasons on this thread.

    Ben C, you made me smile when you said "On every poll I always happen to choose the least popular option."  That has happened to me every time.

    I voted for the site option.  The others are nice things, but they didn't result in anything that felt like a pinnacle achievement.  Finding this site has done quite a lot of me in a creative sense. :)

    My Skyrim highlight was finding this site.  I can honestly say this is the best gaming community I've been apart of and I am very grateful to be here with all of you. Happy Holidays everyone.

    I'd say the make new character builds once I'd completed my first playthrough but I did that last year 
    Definitely the release of Dawnguard for me, added a lot of content for my favourite character archetype, as well as many more options in general.

    I have multiple stuff to highlight my year: The continuation (and me finding) this site, release of Dawnguard and learning to role-play and make new character builds.

    The continued existence of this site. This cyber space is a great transitory of ideas, discussions, fictional readings, and other entertaining aspects. I'm very happy this Elder Scrolls "Mecca" is still around.

    The release of Dragonborn for me. I'm really really really happy the site is still up and running but I've been waiting for any sign of Morrowind (in this case Solstheim) since the day I finished Oblivion and started to wait for a next TES game or DLC. So...  more
