The Character Build Showcase:The Draugr Revenant

  • Time for yet another in our series of Character Build Showcases - where we turn the spotlight onto those high quality character builds on the site that you might be interested in trying out.

Ponty has made the selection this week, and has chosen The Draugr Revenant by Nobody Beast. This is an undead Nord creature that haunts the living in Skyrim. This is how Ponty introduces the build:

The Draugr Revenant by NobodyBeast is a build that has a relatively easy to grasp, yet very in-depth and fun playstyle which combines the always entertaining controller playstyle of combining Illusion and Conjuration to let minions decimate your enemies as they fight amongst themselves, not having to level craft skills, so you don't have to spend any time doing tedious gathering or grinding, along with an interesting equipment set and awesome roleplay opportunities. An excellent pick for an evil playthrough, the Revenant is sure to bring something new to your Skyrim experience.

If, like me, you've yet to try and full-blown 'evil' playthrough, then this might be a build to entice you. It comes with a raft of special moves, and detail tips for role-players. Here's how Nobody Beast describes the concept behind his build.

Like all the other Draugr you have been revived. You don't know why, but your will still remains. Unlike the other Draugr, you can control yourself enough to leave your tomb and venture out into the outside world. It's been years since you last saw such a sight. You are uncertain what your next move will be, but you know you don't want to go back in that tomb. As you travel forward you notice a Mage reviving skeleton corpses and you're astonished. You quickly kill him since he has no armor and begin to read his book. The book vanished and next thing you know that spell is in your hand. You now know what your next move will be....
