The Blog of the Week #4 : The Eye of the Wind

  • This week the Blog of the Week is 'The Eye of the Wind' by Kyrielle.

Now I'd better start with a warning: if you're going to read this series, then you'd better brew a large pot of coffee and make sure you have plenty of free time. At the present time, the series - which is still ongoing - runs to 55 instalments!

So its clear that Kyrielle is one of the more prolific writers here at The Skyrim Blog - this despite only being a member here for a relatively short time. So let me add my own personal thanks and congratulations for Kyrielle for this epic achievement that I know many of our members have continued to enjoy.

If you've never dug into the tales of this female Wood Elf, then you have a treat waiting for you. Here is what Kynareth has to say in nominating this Blog of Week choice:

What happens when you team up a Bosmer and an Argonian?  When is a dragon connection not a Dragonborn?  Then take a look at Kyrielle's story, which delicately weaves a densely layered and exciting adventure in Skyrim.  Kyrielle's lovely prose is matched by her amazing screenshots, and anyone who places this blog on their reading list will not be disappointed!

I neglected to mention that it is a blog that is a beautiful tribute to the amazing game that is Skyrim--excellent screenshots, fine attention to lore, and a story that gives meaning to all of the actions in game so it feels like we are reading a real lif...  more

I had already started on this series (I'm still waaay behind), and I had somehow missed the prologue.   I don't want to give any spoilers (I've backspaced about 5 times now), so I'll just say 'I highly recommend it' ...This was an excellent choice to showcase.
