Welcome to this week's Character Build Showcase ,where we turn the focus on some of the high quality builds that you can find in the Character Build Group.
This week, Ponty has made the selection, and turned the spotlight on The Revakriid, a dragon hunter build by Easily Remember
Here's what Ponty has to say about this one;
EasilyRemember has a very interesting build here, while some may be put off by exploiting Alchemy and Enchanting as it's core mechanic, it gave us something truly unique for when it was released - combat based entirely around Shouts. The ability to get extraordinarily low Shout cooldowns means you've got some very interesting combats ahead of you - with the amazing versatility of Shouts, as well as the minimalist skillset, you have a fun build on your hands!
Check out this build! There's a solid background, plus the origin of the somewhat unusual name for this build - all lore-friendly. This is part of the description from the build
The Revakriid's main focus now is to collect Words of Power, as he studies to achieve a true mastery of the Thu'um. Experiment with Shout combos, and unlock their true potential. Dragons and Dragon Priests will bow before your Voice! Craft yourself some potions and poisons to give yourself an extra boost in combat. With the help of Fortify Smithing potions and enchantments, you should be able to make a very effective greatsword. Pick up the Ebony Mail, and start the Thieves Guild if you haven’t yet, to get the Nightingale Hood. With the Ebony Mail’s Muffle effect, and custom potions of Invisibility and Fortify Sneak, you can breeze through the Thieves Guild quest line. Your AR won't be particularly impressive by default, but you can buff it with enchantments if you desire. I found it was unnecessary; with proper usage of Shouts, you can control every battle. All that’s left to do is to fill out the shrine at Labryinthian, hone your Thu’um, and fulfill your destiny as Dovahkiin!
Perhaps you've tried this build and give some insight here - or if you are interested in trying it out, then feel free to ask questions
And check back next week for another Character Build Showcase
