Poll Result #1 : Races

  This week, whilst I am away on holiday, front page content will be a series of scheduled posts that give the results on some of our most recent polls. I've selected five polls that received huge numbers of votes for us to have a look at. I hope you enjoy these posts, and remember that the new weekly schedule starts next Monday, October 21st. 

  Today we have the results of last weeks poll, when 1397 people voted on the question 'Which race have you played most in Skyrim?'. Here are the results:

  

  As we can see the Nords won the poll, with a short margin over Bretons. Now, back before Skyrim was released we had a poll about which races people intended to play - and Nords were, again, well out in the lead. But Breton was well back the chasing pack, in fact it only came something like 7th or 8th. So its clear that Bethesda have made Bretons a whole lot more appealing in Skyrim. Any ideas why?

  We also see that the beast races - Khajiit and Argonian - have done far better in this poll than in the pre-Skyrim poll. And, again, we must give props to Bethesda for making the beast races more attractive to players. 

  And what about poor old Redguards? I know people like to hate on Nazeem, but surely they have more redeeming features than that....
