I've now introduced all of the weekly features that will make up the rolling program of content to be on the front page of the site.
For anyone who wasn't really keeping up, this is the weekly menu
Sunday The Character Build Showcase
Monday The Weekly Poll
Tuesdays Adventures in Modding Skyrim
Wednesday The Blog of the Week
Thursday The Weekly Deathmatch
Friday Weekly News Roundup + Roundtable Discussion
Saturday The Video of the Week
Now, very eagle-eyed readers will notice that I slipped in the phrase 'Roundtable Discussion' into the mix. Long standing blog readers will know exactly what this means because this was a feature that we had on the old blog way back before Skyrim came out.
Very simply, each weekend we have a 'hot topic' of relevance to Elder Scrolls fans, introduced by a blog from me - and then thrown open for debate and discussion. Well, its coming back - and, here's the news, it starts tomorrow! So come back here tomorrow and join in.
OK, so this will all start from week commencing October 21st. I'm sure that some of you are now thinking 'why wait until then? why not start straight away?' Well, the simple reason is that I will be on holiday next week, and away with my children in Spain no less. So I won't be here to update things.
However, that does NOT mean that you won't get fresh content each day. Here's how. You probably noticed that I haven't been keeping up with giving out the results of completed polls. So I'm making a series of blog posts that feature the most interesting seven polls of the last few months - and these will be posted each day using the built-in ability that Ning has to schedule posting of content - nifty, eh?
So you won't go without fresh stuff each day next. And don't think you can all go crazy next week with me out of the way - because the Hosting team will still be around! I'll be able to validate new members and generally keep an eye on things using the Ning App on my iPhone. When I get back next weekend I'll be starting work on the site revamp - a brand new design for the front page of the site, so that all the new weekly content can be properly and prominently featured. Expect things to take shape in that week following, when we will also be celebrating our one year anniversary of the site in its present form...
Phew! I think that's all for now. If that's not clear, then please ask in the comments
