Introducing a new feature : 'The Blog of the Week'

  • Today I'm bringing news of a brand new feature on the site.

Every Wednesday we'll turn the spotlight on the creativity and imagination that is displayed by the various bloggers and story writers here on The Skyrim Blog.

I hope it will help to showcase a part of the site that doesn't get as much attention as it should. There's some amazing work in that section - and I'm really looking forward to showcasing the best of it!

I noticed that site member Kynareth is an avid reader and commenter of the blogs, and I'm delighted that she has agreed to be my 'eyes and ears' in the blogs and stories, picking out an outstanding contribution for me to feature each week.

First up, she has nominated 'The Breton Farm Girl from Cyrodiil' by Eviltrain. Here's why

It is a great synthesis of some of the major groups on the site: well-researched lore and was inspired by The Succubus build by Johsua R from Character Building.  It is dark, has a bit of mystery, tons of suspense, and truly amazing and thoughtfully written characters.  Plus, one of the major protagonists is the much-beloved housecarl, Lydia.

Check out this wonderful Skyrim fiction - and don't forget to check every Wednesday for a new highlighted blog. It will shortly be located in a new 'content block' on a freshly revamped front page!
