Ciel’nn waited outside the room where Elam Drals gave out minor contracts for the Initiates. He listened to the quiet chat from fresh the Initiates, and looked at the bottle in his hands – maybe the older assassin likes it? The bottle was from Mournhold Inn. It was rather expensive, but the young Dunmer refused to drink any other.

He looked up, and as others went by, he nodded at them. It that seemed Elam was alone now, so Ciel’nn was going to make his move tonight. A smile crept on his lips behind the mask.

“Silencer, it’s good to see you.” Elam greeted him, raising his eye brow. “Did you have something?”

“I have.” Ciel’nn showed the bottle to the older Dunmer.

“What’s that?” Elam enquired in a curious tone as he looked up from the bottle.

“Don’t play coy with me, Drals! You know well what this is.” Ciel’nn snarled. “You said you love gifts. You get this if you meet me at Anvil Inn within a half a hour.” he said in an alluring tone as he knew Elam couldn’t resist to meet him. The younger Dunmer observed as Elam’s eyes practically lit up. “I’ll be waiting…” he added smoothly, and turned to leave.

Ciel’nn came out of the Sanctuary, and he followed the path up to the road as other assassins passed him. A few of them were talking quietly to the side. A calm evening in the Gold Coast if you don’t have the business at Kvatch.

Ciel’nn called his black horse, and jumped on its back. He rode to down to Anvil with a smirk on his face.

There weren’t many patrons at the Inn as the young Dunmer chose the fireplace to wait for Elam. He wondered if the older Dunmer would show up at all, but he had seen the spark in Elam’s eyes whenever they talked. Standing in front of the fire Ciel’nn found himself lost in his thoughts.

A sharp poke on his back made him return to the present time, and he hissed as he turned around as his hand went for his dagger.

“You’d be dead by now.” Elam’s serious eyes greeted him as he looked down at Ciel’nn, then he smiled. He didn’t have his mask on.

Ciel’nn’s angry features softened as soon as he saw the older Dunmer’s beautiful face, it looked so gentle. He brought his hand to his face, and he removed his own mask. It felt so much better. Being aware of how Elam studied him, or just enjoying what he was seeing, Ciel’nn brought the bottle in front of him, “Share Sujamma with me, Elam.” he spoke in a gentle tone as his hand reached out to stroke the older Dunmer’s cheek. “You’re so beautiful…”

They sat in front of the fireplace, and Ciel’nn leaned against Elam’s shoulder to get comfortable. The past two weeks had been full of stress and chaos so he wanted to be close to someone he’d trust. His friend Vevan was out of town getting ingredients, and wouldn’t be back for a while. Ciel’nn trusted Elam – maybe it was foolish, but he hoped it was worth it.

“You’re the most charming assassin I’ve been honored to know, Ciel’nn. I do enjoy your company.” Elam confessed quietly.

“Flatterer! You’re after my own heart,” Ciel’nn beamed. “But I enjoy your company, too.” He still couldn’t tell how he really felt as it was too early. He held the chalice in one hand while his other hand reached to touch Elam’s arm. The older Dunmer didn’t seem to stop him.

“This is wonderful. Where did you buy it?” Elam asked, enjoying the feel of Ciel’nn’s hand.

“Flaming Nix. You might have heard of it?” Ciel’nn replied playfully, making Elam laugh.

“It’s a great Inn. Pity, I don’t have much time to visit there anymore.” he lamented.

Ciel’nn pondered their situation. “I’m sure there will be time for us to visit home again.” He could show his house, too. However the younger Dunmer decided to talk about it later.

The Older dunmer smiled, but he didn’t say anything. Elam took in all of how Ciel’nn was looking at the moment. He had no idea how this Silencer was so spectacularly handsome with his silky long hair, and even the tiny scar on his left eye was part of the attraction, too. There was something in Ciel’nn’s eyes but Elam couldn’t point out what it was – maybe he’d figure it out one day. Elam brought his hand to stroke Ciel’nn’s cheek tenderly. “Where does your next contract take you?” he asked in a soft tone.

    “Eastmarch.”

    “Oh, don’t buy mead then.”

“I hate that stuff!” Ciel’nn laughed.

Yes, it is. I'll fix that soon. I get mixed with towns sometimes.

Nice work, so far! I do have a question, though. How has Ciel'nn survived since the Second Era all the way to the Fourth? We're talking 984 years here, more or less. Or is it something  you'll be revealing in the story?

Thanks! Think this as Alternative Universe story. :) I hope you understand. This and Skyrim story are completely separate from each other.

Ah! I understand completely, then. I use the 'alternate universe' idea a lot myself. Looking forward to the next parts!
