I think I know what the start of the game will be like. (SPOILERS)

    SERIOUSLY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

NOT KIDDING AROUND DUDE, LAST WARNING!

    Fine, have it your way.

    First blog post :D

So I recently changed my desktop wallpaper to a map of Skyrim. I was looking around Riverwood trying to find something that might look like the exit of the cave, but still being relatively close to both riverwood and the Skyrim border. My reasoning was that all we knew was that we were heading to our execution after being caught going over the border. I looked at the map and noticed that the area around Riverwood is pretty rocky, with smaller mountains to the west and south and the Throat of the World to the east. But still, these mountains weren't close enough to the border... And I know that no cave would ever span that distance. No natural cave would go from the southern mountains in Cyrodiil to the Riverwood area. (DDon't quote me on that, not a geologist.) Anyway, I started to remember something...

I remembered seeing a video on gametrailers.com where the character was talking to the Riverwood smith, explaining what had happened. (LAST DAMN SPOILER WARNING FOR FUCKS SAKE GUYS)

Dovahkiin tells the smith that a village called Helgen had been destroyed by a dragon. It's just south of Riverwood and even has a path going through a small mountain. I'll link the map at the bottom.

Now, what I think happened: I think you start the game either close to or during your execution, but a dragon interrupts things, forcing you to escape via cave to the vicinity of Riverwood, exiting close to it in the area that all the gameplay videos have shown. So that's it. Helgen destroyed by dragon during execution, espcape through a cave.

I'm guessing some of you are going "well duh" right now, but still. I wanted to share this.

here's the map so you can see for yourself:

Were you about to say "No shit, Sherlock" as in Sherlock, the BBC modern day series. Or "No shit, Sherlock" as in Sherlock Holmes in general?
The BBC one is more awesome. :D

Blackscale, I think it's the same dragon that sits at bleak falls barrow. Since there's not supposed to be that many dragons at first. (the 2 you battle in the demo were scripted in for demo purpouses)

I somewhat doubt that you'll be able to kill a dragon at level 1 Logan, they appeared to be pretty tough in the demo's at level 34.

I wonder IF you escape your execution with the aide of a dragon, if that is the dragon you eventually befriend and learn to call with a dragon shout.. That might be kinda kewl!
