Chapter 2: Skjor's Death
Entry 15.

Skjor may have been a fool for embracing the curse that plagues the Companions, but even so he did not deserve this fate. As a warrior he was someone I respected and his passing pains me greatly as it brings back memories of all those shield brothers and sisters that I watched die in my previous life. I knew it would happen eventually, but still I hoped otherwise.

Aela has proposed that we hunt down those in league with the one who killed Skjor. While it won’t bring him back, the fighting will serve me well as a distraction. That and as much mead as I can find.
