    Batman yeah, i was followed by 2 dragons on the way that time I just out rode them and he turned up when i stepped into the sanctuary. another option is to gain the map marker before getting the quest and then just fast traveling there.

    Batman yeah but to get Maurice you have to get the Nettlebane, and that's in the company of a Hagraven not to mention the 6 or so mages before that
