Some of you have heard of The Story Corner, some of you haven't or simply have yet to wander in our territory. So, with that in mind, what is TSC exactly?
It's a safe, friendly place where members of all levels and skills can write creatively and share their stories with other like-minded individuals who enjoy reading and telling stories.
It doesn't matter if you have several degrees or dropped out of school. There's nothing worse in the world than a blank page, so give it a go.
Write a few words.
Read a few stories.
No one knows where the journey will take you and no one can guess who you will meet on the way.

Well since we are all jumping in the nostalgia train...
My favorite Destruction version was Morrowind, where it was like reverse-restoration, with vulnarity spells, poison and stat damage (not just to stamina or magic but on strength or endurance and such).
I can understand why touch spell were droped off, in a way it was kind of a cheap trick for low magicka build to use the same high cost missile spell; that was nice in Morrowind when NPC and creatures were not leveled (kinda if I remember), but start to suck a little in Oblivion for squishy mages after the first levels when minotaurs started to punch like a sack of brick.
Also I believe that even if the range of magic in Skyrim has been drastically reduced compared to previous TES games, it is kind of balance by the shouts that actually add some nice variation that could have been spells (slow time, whirlind sprint, throw voice,etc...) and work quite well in builds feature on this site
Well in my humble opinion what I think dumb the most magic in Skyrim is the College questline... It doesn't have the feel of the previous mageguild questlines of Morrowind and Oblivion that were tied to different location that gave a sense of scale, also there is a sheer lack of progression, one day you have your first lesson with tolfdir, the next you are archmage after runing a few errand ? I really miss these faction ranks...
On the front of the few spells that disapeared form previous games the ones I miss the most are the practicle spell like unlock, levitation to a certain extend and mystism as a whole. Also the enchanting merchant from Morrowind where you can just craft your own stuff with just the power of money !
Funny enough, even if all the youtuber I watch (even if in most case I just listen to them while doing something else) are English speaking ones for most things comics and movies related, for all gaming stuff they are all French...
Only Honest Game Trailer I watch from time to time, because bitching about games you did'nt played most of the time is funny... and it's funnier when you actually did played them
Well, I wanted to take advantage of this month AMOSS to spill out some of the presentation idea I had for my last CB : Le Magicien and didn't make the cut.
It is my first submission at the TSC and maybe I actually suck at it... feel free to comment, all opinions are welcome.
