Modding - Agree or disagree?

I disagree with this and let me explain why. The screenshot from above is from Immersive Armors, a compilation mod that is CONSTANTLY being updated with new armors. It wasn't as big as it was now and it's certainty wasn't done all by one guy.

Not sure what the bottom picture is trying to say, to be honest, but I think it's implying that all Skyrim armor mods now are skimpy. If you don't search for skimpy mods you (hopefully) won't see them. Skyrim modders have been producing quality armors from Week One of release and every day, more mods are coming out.

This picture is wrong, in my opinion, but what are your thoughts? Has Skyrim armor mods been getting worse or better?

Armor mods? I haven't seen anything surpassing Immersive Armors and that mod is quite old (despite being constantly updated). Overall there are mods that appeal to certain people, calling those mods bad is wrong IMO. Even SoS can appeal to some people (definitely not me). Modding is always about editing and adding game content and it will never have something used by every modder out there. Even SkyUI is not used by some people

I think its implying that modders are straying away from CORRECT immersive armor mods.there making the armor alien and not elder scroll esque.

Meh, both types of mods have been out since day one, not that different today really. Also, if you think Skyrim mods are bad, you should see Oblivion mods. There are some real gems out there, but you have to sift through about 20 pages of mods that are basically porn in order to find them.

Apart from the glamazons faction - yes I am talking pretty hair , big breasts and armoured bikinis . I hate them, but so many mods armour and everything are outstanding. Immersive armours is a must.

The thing is, that it's hell of a lot easier to make ports of existing hairs and fashion than to create something more unique and fitting for the world. And there's a HUGE fuckin' pile of this stuff to be ported from The Sims, so naturally people who don't look closely will assume that's all there is.

Don't worry though, the gems are there, you just need to look closer. Actually is as easy as using skyrimnexus' categories :D

I don't have much of an opinion since I've yet to play anything but vanilla Skyrim ( I plan to change that soon). In any case I give it about an hour before Overhate starts bashing console players.
