Here's the thing, early on in ur enchanting career, ur best bet would be magicka regen instead of fortify magicka, because the amount of magicka you would get from the fortification, will be outclassed by the regen of the same level. Later on, your fortifications will become much more useful, but without a substantial boost to enchanting, perhaps resto looping, youll never be able to replace high regens on multiple gear pieces for the fortifications. That being said, both enchants are useful to have, however the regen does slightly outclass fortify as far as utility.

If you're a vampire with 100% spell absorption, you can negate the damage from dawnbreaker's explosions. Does it recharge magicka though? How much?

This might make for a good build.

It does recharge Magicka, though I'm not sure how much. You're right about the build part though; Raid incorporated it into his Twilight Warden.

    That's pretty cool.

Anyone know if augmented flames/frost affect fire/frost breath?

According to Ponty's Guide to Shouts (http://tamrielvault.com/group/glitches/forum/topics/the-complete-guide-to-shouts) they are, as well as the Dragonborn DLC priest masks which enhance Flame/Frost damage.

    That's dope, thanks.

What about fortify destruction and breaths? I know fortify alteration affects slow time.

I don't believe so. From my understanding (and a more experienced person could weigh in on this to verify), Dragon Shouts aren't tagged as Destruction Spells and thus wouldn't benefit from anything that fortofies Destruction magic. The best you could likely do would be the 25% Meditation boost, 50% from Augmented Flames/Frost, 25% from Dragon Aspect, and 25% from Ahzidal/Dukaan for something like a 125% increase to Flame Breath and 100% for Frost Breath (no meditation available for Frost).

Any further damage enhancement would have to come from poisoning the enemy to reduce magic/fire/Frost resistance. The only further enhancements I can think of are the Dragonborn Flame/Frost powers, which spawn little Fire Wyrm pets for Flame Breath when an enemy is killed by the shout and freezes those affected by Frost Breath solid for several seconds (like Ice Form, only multiple people and you can beat the bejesus out of them).

I don't know about the meditation, but Ahzidal, Dukaan and Zahkriisos actually provide their bonuses separately from Augmented Flames/Frost/Shock. Having 2/2 in these perks with the fitting mask actually boosts the respective element by 87.5% :)

If the meditation were separate aswell (seems very likely to me, actually) it'd amount to +134.375% damage for fire breath.  And then again, if dragon aspect is separate it'd be +193%, nearly triple damage!

From memory, potions do not effect the Elemental Shouts at all, I think that's because they're tagged as an elemental effect, so if it increases an element it'll boost Fire/Frost Breath, but not tagged with destruction like Mercurias said. And Storm Call (sadly) isn't boosted by anything at all, but that's because it acts as an enviroment effect rather than something the Dovahkiin casts (if that makes sense)

But I could be wrong about the reason (I'm confidant I know the info) so don't quote me :P

So I was just wondering :

If I have diseases (Ataxia , Witbane ) when I became a vampire ( so 100% immunity to diseases ) will I keep my diseases ? Or will they cured by my immunity ?
