*Okan, I’ve sent you a PM . Have a think on it and get back to me. Don’t make me send out the hounds after you. Think about it and get back. There is no rush so take your time.

*Teekus, sending you a PM as well. Have a read and think about what I said.

I understand writers' block and I understand how debilitating it is. Your determination to keep trying is really quite motivating, Okan!

These days if I’m not being lazy and lethargic, I’m getting mad at myself for being lazy and lethargic. Kind of a vicious cycle.

Day by day you wake and think to yourself, “I’m going write that thing today, dammit!” And then you don’t, because the simple act of starting takes effort enough to move a mountain.

Sounds like my daily routine too.  But it sounds like you really need some support for Kindlerfire. Do you have any friends who are into writing? Sometimes the best thing can be to just have someone with whom you can discuss the world. The echoes of your ideas may sound stupid, or they may sound brilliant. But it's always easier with an outside ear.

I hope returning to DOTE for one chapter will make a positive difference to your enthusiasm! Keep trying and try to stay optimistic.

I would agree with this - your kindlerfire is the issue here; sounds like you need some support with this maybe other writers can help with this? It can be hard as you probably won't want to give too much away but maybe some ideas you have for the story (or anything else you may need help with) could be PM to other members to have their input?

    Or... Skype chat.

"Creating a whole world, characters, places and a good engaging plot is very difficult to do."

It is, though I find my biggest problem is keeping the lore I create consistent. There's no established canon in my world, so there's the temptation to keep changing things with every inkling I get. Often I don't know when to say enough is enough.

That too. I've been way too negligent.

This is echoing something I've been thinking about. Trying to seclude myself and work on this story of mine was a mistake. Like all things, outside support can make a huge difference.

I will definitely think of ways to tackle this and reach out to you guys. It's probably high time.

I'd be more than elated if I were able to support you in this.

Well, we are here. Werewolves, Justiciars, Argonians, Hippies, and skeletal squirrels.

And a severed wing that has gone quite rancid, too.  I don't think it'll be very helpful, but who knows?
