Your First Skywind Character

It is, right? Fighters Guild are merceneries with certain rules.

Companions are warriors who brag about glory and battle, yet they won´t move a finger until they get paid too.

I would say both are similar, but Fighters Guild doesn´t hide the fact they´re merceneries for hire.

Since you can't join Indoril (unless they change that in Skywind) i always join Redoran since Nerevar was their patron.

Nope I wouldn't kill Vivec, after everything he taught Nerevar over the years and after everything he laid out in the 36 Lessons Nerevar would know that it went they way it always had to.

You actually raised really good topic here, Veloth. Would you care to start a discussion about "Canonical Nerevarine?" Like what type of character is actually canonical for most people. That could be really interesting to hear.

And I would really like to hear more about your canonical Nerevarine. How would he felt about Tribunal? Why would he join Redoran when he is Indoril?

Also, would you try to play the real Nerevar Reborn, or just Nerevarine who is presented in the game? Would you be Nerevar or Nerevarine?

Forget the morality. FG is better organized in ranks, they have more civilized looking headquarters, they wear shiny plate armour, etc. The Companions are basically a bunch of half-drunken half-naked barbarian mercenaries who live in a wooden shag and on top of that are werewolves.

    Half-drunken?

I have no idea. My main goal will at least be yo finish the main quest line obviously, so I guess a Nerevarine character, which for me means Dunmer for the first playthrough... I guess a Dunmer Nightblade or possibly a Dunmer Battle-Priest.

Seems like Nerevarin Dunmer is favourite approach. I guess that more difficult roleplay comes much later, once you´ll get hold of quests and the land, huh?

And Battle-Priest? If we´re talking TES that would be something between Healer and Crusader?

I have three characters thought up.
First a dunmer Lightly armored warrior

Next is a Telvanni master Wizard because house telvanni is the great house of great houses.

And my third will be a interpretation of your Juib the eradicator build where I hunt Cliff racers and not be the Nerevarine.

Damn. I completely forgout about my Jiub! That would be a pretty good character to play Skywind. (Maybe without all that eating people)

I certainly plan to play a Mage character, mainly for the reason to get my hands on Spellmaking. I´m super hyped out about that.

Now that I have some time, I´ll list my two characters.

One will be a Dunmer, member of House Hlaalu. Probably a some bored noble, so joining Thieves Guild just for some adrenaline will be interesting. I will probably become Nerevarine with this one.  I would like to go heavy on Speech, One-Handed, Archery, Light Armor, maybe Lockpicking, plus some Alchemy. All skills favoured by House Hlaalu (If there will be skill requirements to advance in Rank, this should make it easier)

Second will be an Altmer Mage. Pure mage, with Enchanting. I really want to get my hands on Spellmaking in Skywind. I would probably go for Mage´s Guild, maybe even Telvanni, even if these factions dislike each other. Some scholar type guy maybe. Just to study the land of Vvardenfell, it´s flora and fauna, enjoy the small quests along the roads. Maybe grab some follower to keep me safe. (I´m really curious about followers in Skywind.
