Welcome to The Story Corner Library

We, the writers of TSC have written a wonderful collection of stories for all to read. Some are as of yet unfinished, while others sit complete. All, however, share a common cause. They are crying out to be read.

Allow me to offer you a spot by the campfire. Go ahead; delve into our stories presented here and we hope you enjoy them just as much as we, the writers, have enjoyed writing them. What use is a story if it remains untold? Or the beauty of a book if its cover's untouched?

You never know what you will find in a book. New enemies? New friends? New places yet unseen by a readers eye perhaps? Maybe the love of a hero or Heroine… maybe?

So, you made it this far, well good for you! You’ve sat by the campfire and had a look around, but now what? First off, let me explain something quick. Tales are always best told around the campfire. The crackle of flame, the smell of burning wood. (And venison if Aela’s cooking)… (It’s true!)

It all adds to the vibes of the stories.

That’s all very well, but what story should I pick, I hear you cry. (Unless those are wolves in the background?). Well we’ve a varied collection here for all of you.

Maybe Agents of the Queen by Tenebrous?

A story about the events of the Aldmeri Dominion from the eyes of the warrior Ardolan Larethbinder and his companions.

What about Fallout? We have The Streets of Boston by Teineeva.

The world has changed, and certainly not for the better. Between the Raiders, mercs and horribly irradiated monsters that roam the late city of Boston, misery, famine, violence and fear haunt the Commonwealth.

Yes, we have these and more, but maybe you want something out of the blue, off the beaten path, shall we say? Something a bit special? Look no further then than our Tale of the Week. This is a story which has been plucked out of the vast library and placed in its own shelf.  Sometimes the shelf will feature old favorites, while other times, you'll find a tale there that is seldom read. Some you know and some you’ve yet to meet.

    Allow me to introduce…

    Tale of the Week

Warning; in these tomes and books you will come across death and enemies. Some are weak yet others remain to be feared. Dragons be here and they are not to be trifled with. Death follows every path you find and darkness will swallow you up in a heartbeat.

But for those stout of heart. For those with a thirst for adventure. For those with a fire burning in their hearts? Adventure awaits. There is always a balance and death is no exception. Where you may find tales of misery and anguish you will also find, if you be so bold to look, love and friendship, heroes of old… and new

In these waters of the writer’s imagination you will find monsters. But there is always light in the darkness, always hope, even if it’s a fool's hope. For a fool's hope is better than none.

Some readers have other stories which they prefer over those presented above. It isn’t for anyone to say what should be read and what shouldn’t, so if you do have a favorite story which isn’t included, then feel free to mention it here. Add a link to the ToC and we will try our best to add it to this collection which, in time, I hope will grow.

For all you writers who would like their story added here to The Story Corner Library, then by all means, bring it to our attention and we will once again do our best to add it to the collection.

For those of us who are here in the Library, help us to help yourself. When you post a new chapter come here to the library and tell us so the readers know you’ve updated your story. It’s an open opportunity to tell everyone in TSC that you have worked on your story and furthered the tale of the characters within.

    Paw Note:-

I would like to thank Karver The Lorc on behalf of everyone from The Story Corner for all his time and patience in creating these wonderful pictures and books which you all see in the Library.

    Thank you Karver…

    Sotek Loyal Hound of Hircine

Very cool! Love it, guys. What a great way of showcasing the stories. And desaturated book covers, no less. Tasteful :)

My gods, what a wonderful thing to wake up to! Sotek, and everyone else involved, you have all outdone yourselves with this. It's an excellent initiative, and a great way to spread word of all the stories we have here on the Tamriel Vault. I hope that this will serve a dual purpose, both expanding the reader base of these stories and inspiring others to start writing their own tales.

On a very personal note, thank you for giving so much attention to Agents of the Queen. Not only did you put it as the first book in the library, you also mention it in the post proper. I never thought AotQ would get such attention, partially because I still have doubts as to the quality of my writing, and to see it in this collection is both reassuring and inspiring.

So, to everyone in the Story Corner. Sit by the campfire, grab your quills, your parchment and a mug of your favorite drink (coffee, in my case). See what you do with your words, and perhaps what your words do with you. And again, thank you guys.

Didn't expect this in the slightest, but that may be my sleep-deprived mind talking; need to thank my damn brother for that....

But this is damn cool :D

@Tenebrous Well said, mate. Just a little nitpick. "All stories". While that would be great it isn't that easy. Not every story has working ToC, working links or it was just abandoned. We focused on stories that are...hot. Being worked on, links that work, finished, chapters posted regulary in recent months and such. But you nailed it. This is about inspiring and expanding, both readers and writers.

And Agents have a rightful place here, and once Huntress of Drakes will have more chapters, Sotek will include that one too no doubt. Heh, and Agents are the first because Sotek got the beginning of the alphabet right... xD

    @Ben Good morning, sunshine.

Just a quick note to everyone. I hope I done right by you all, by the choice of pictures and such - I tried to get most of them from your ToCs - but if you have some kind of objection: picture choice text, just let me know and I'll fix it. I noticed that after the port few of the titles are somewhat blurry so I'm going to fix them as soon as possible.

    Cheeers everyone. :)
