Now that I'm playing ESO on regular basis, I was wondering whether I might upgrade to ESO Plus
I've read up on the benefits, so I don't need those explaining.
It seems to me that, so long as the DLC keeps coming at a reasonable rate, then it would probably be cheaper to join ESO Plus rather than buying them separately. I definitely want Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood for a start!
Then theres the XP buff. That seems useful to me, as I'm basically a solo player and need to keep the XP chugging away or I'll just find it hard to level up fast enough
What do people think? Is the upgrade worth it?

I recently upgraded to ESO Plus and don't regret my decision. I love the XP boost as well as the monthly allotment of crowns. Something to consider, if you save the crowns they give you each month (which I don't ), you could use them to eventually buy the DLCs with the crowns if you want to drop your sub.
But, one of the biggest benefits to ESO Plus: CRAFTING BAGS. When the Dark Brotherhood DLC drops, Plus members will get access to a crafting bag. The bag sits as a permanent additional slot in your inventory into which you can put an UNLIMITED amount of crafting items, i.e. runes, reagents, ore, materials. The bulk of my inventory and bank space is taken up by crafting items so this will be a huge benefit for me. If you drop your sub, you will still be able to remove the items but you won't be able to add anything to it.

Thanks Patriarch, I hadn't spotted the Crafting Bag deal - very good info!
My Sorcerer guy is training up in Alchemy and Clothing and, yeah, my inventory is often filled with random plants and supplies.
Another reason to upgrade

The supplies add up, don't they? My sorcerer is the main crafter for all my characters, so he's fully leveled in alchemy and 90% leveling in everything else. LOTS of materials. But, he plans to get rich selling his wares. (No, he's not a Khajiit ).

I think it's worth it if you want to play the DLC -- you get access to all DLC while you're subscribed, and if you ever get to a point where you're not willing to keep paying the monthly sub fee, you can use the Crowns you've accumulated to buy the DLC anyways. Meanwhile you get the crafting bags (soon), buffs to XP, Gold, and Inspiration, etc. and rather than paying up front for all the DLC, you're basically doing "installment payments" with extra perks. Really makes sense, unless you have zero interest in the DLC content which if you're playing regularly you definitely should try it. The Dark Brotherhood especially looks promising.

I love ESO Plus as well, have had it almost since the game came out on PC, then switched it to PS4 when I transferred. The new crafting bag is definitely something I am looking forward too!! My main is a Sorcerer as well, and my crafter, so balancing all materials between bag and bank space can be taxing. I do save up the crowns when I know something that peaks my interest is coming out!! All around fun!
