This profile has been reworked for my upcoming reset of my youtube series on Apollo.  Also as a side note, most of his screenshots are older from previous iterations of his story and that is why he has shorter hair and why there are certain...tweaks to his facial structure.  In addition, there will be some things not expanded upon due to his youtube series in which they will be revealed.

    History

4E 174 - Apollo was born, his father never knowing this as he had left to fight in the Great War with his brother, Mralki and died in battle shortly thereafter.

4E 174-196 - Apollo spent the majority of his life in Rorikstead with his mother and cousin of a year older, Erik.  His mother, Mari, was actually the disowned daughter of a Breton noble from High Rock, who, was none too happy about her falling in love with his father, a mere merchant peddler from Skyrim.

However, his mother was very happy with her choice and despite her grief over her husband, she spent the remainder of her life in the village caring for her son.  She taught Apollo and Erik both how to read and write, and was incredibly supportive of her son’s interest in the arts of music and literature.  With the money from the Imperial Army sent to Mari after her husband’s death, as well as what she had left over from selling valuables to move to Skyrim, she assisted Mralki with the running of the Frostfruit Inn and eventually schooling for Apollo in Cyrodiil.

4E 196 - Apollo leaves Skyrim for Cyrodiil to train as a bard.  He was sent there rather than to the Bard’s College in Solitude as bandit activity had been on the rise as well as the Stormcloak uprising and Mari felt it safer.  During this time he expanded on his skills and education vastly.

4E 201 - Apollo returns to Skyrim after his mother passing away from disease.  He spends a few months back at home with his uncle and cousin before going to Solitude to at least see the Bard’s College with his cousin (after doing much to convince his uncle to even let the man leave the village, yet alone get armor and become an adventurer).  He left after his initation, finding the institution lacking.  He then went to Whiterun to join the Companions, his desire to find subjects worthy of song and prose leading him there; and after proving he wasn’t just another silver-tongued milk-drinker that spent his time in taverns playing music to win the affection of ladies and men alike, he was accepted in to the group.  However, while the Companions had many honorable members, he felt they had ultimately become no more than a glorified group of mercenaries and lost the desire to write about any of them.  (The addition of finding out the Circle were werewolves didn’t help this much either)

Some time later in his travels to find inspiration, Apollo came across an Argonian woman claiming to be what she called ‘The Swamp Knight’.  This Argonian, Anum-La, would ultimately lead to the spark that would reignite his original goal.  He has wrote a tale about this unlikely friendship as well as others about those he met as a result of his travels with The Swamp Knight and about himself as well.

Currently he is enjoying a somewhat more simple life living at his ranch with his friends, adopted son, and lovers, not adventuring quite as much as he used to.

    Personality

Despite being born and raised in the farmstead town of Rorikstead, smack dab in the middle of Skyrim, thanks to his mother, Apollo grew up to have a rather 'proper’ way about himself.  He may have gained a majority of his physical features from his father (red hair, freckles) but his face and manners came from his Breton mother, giving the man an interesting advantage over others, at least when it came to his chosen interests and profession.

With receiving an education early in life from someone who had recieved it through nobility, he was book smart from childhood and being part Nord and raised in the Nord homeland, he wasn’t half bad with fighting either, nor did he shy away from this.

Due to being half Breton himself and his mother being Breton, he never agreed with many Nord’s thoughts on anyone who wasn’t a full blooded Nord and this grew to near disgust when dealing with the Stormcloaks.  Thus, Apollo considers himself wholly an Imperial supporter, though, like many, he still hates the Thalmor more than anything.  (Note, he hates the Thalmor, not Altmer)

Apollo’s skill with music is only second to his skill at weaving tales and writing poetry and while he does enjoy performing at taverns and festivals, his ultimate goal is to create stories that will be passed down for generations to become.

He was raised knowing he was decended from nobility, however was made to still be humble and he actually considers himself to be Nord, something thankfully his mother was proud of.  This, however, only really applies to his ability to make friends.  In certain conditions, usually when he feels he’s been offended or annoyed, Apollo can have a cocky or snarky attitude.  His pride in his intelligence, knowledge of his physical attractiveness and experience as a man of the arts has caused this little flaw.  Though he will never outright discriminate against another person without just cause to do so, including, oddly enough, a member of the Thalmor despite his distain for their actions and ideals.

Being that Apollo knows he's 'easy on the eyes', he can, at times, be flirtatious.  He is also a follower of the divine, Dibella, though sometimes his behaviour could lead people to think he might follow the Daedric Prince Sanguine instead.  This meaning he likes to gamble on occassion, drink and isn't shy about the subject of sex.  (Though this doesn't mean he would sleep with a married man or woman like a certain Bunkhouse owner in Riften)

You've surpassed yourself with this, Isa. I love the detail on the character, the inclusion of a history feature especially, it's a hard thing to implement and shows commitment to your character. And I get the feeling that the Strengths/ Virtues were written by him, hm? Classic bard behaviour to me! Forgive me, but what is the meaning of 'pansexual'? I'm not really sure what it means to be honest, and I'm sure it's a pretty integral part of Apollo.

Haha, thanks.  Writing history sections for my characters, even the ones I don't put much effort in to is the part that takes me the longest to write out.  Usually I have to do a bunch of research in the Timeline, on race age expectancies, and then add to that research on a race that is only given basic information concerning mention of their cultures (this of course applying to most of the elven races and the beast races).  To answer your question, to be a pansexual is to be attracted reguardless of what race, gender identification, or anything the other person is.  This is to mean he's more attracted to personality than anything and for Apollo, he'd even find a vampire or a daedra attractive if they were interesting enough and this is actually a big deal yet at the same time, something left over from when I had first created him to roleplay on tumblr where through various threads he had been given the moniker, 'Seducer of the Gods' since at one point he at an Akatosh, a Sanguine, Clavicus Vile and a powerful old vampire character all wanting to get a piece of him lol.

The way I like to put it the most when describing him is think Miguel from The Road to El Dorado meets Kuzco from The Emperor's New Groove.

The guy from Resident Evil? I absolutely see this now, and I now need him to be an undead killer of some kind.
