  so I was playing skyrim earlier and it was working perfectly then I turned of my ps3 then went back to play and it won't read the disk any help?

  It might possibly have been what happened to me a couple years ago. The Ps3's laser might not be fuctioning or reading discs at all, like it burnt out. Have you tried putting other games in to see if the system reads them?
