    Hello dear Skyrim fans

I would like to tell you about my latest project which leads me to the secrets of Skyrim furnitures and items and how they will look in real world. At first I'm making the replica of Noble Table of Skyrim. So far I've cut the woods from our forest two years ago and asked our neighbor which has a sawmill to split the trunks.

After two years drying aspenwood is a bit darkened which serves fine for my purpose. You see the wood should not be too first class as I want to get the look of the table little rough like the great world of Skyrim.

I split the woods in to suitable width planks. Creation kit is very nice to use for planning the project as you can get screenshots of the table in different angle and to get the measures I used the Microsoft Visio.

Anyways, I have already finished the planks for the tabletop and did the carvings to the ends of the table. Yesterday I glued the centerwoods. We'll see how did it go today... I will get back to you on that later.

Anyways, my table cover is 600mm width and 1200 mm long. The original Noble Table in Skyrim is quite much bigger. Now, the width of the table should be proportional to the height of the table. As I shrink the limits of the table top width and length and I had to lenghten the table legs a bit longer according to the Skyrim original.

In that sense it's not going to be 100% replica

This is great Bethruz! I hope you keep updating this discussion as your work progresses. It's looking great already, and I'd love to see it at various stages. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Now that is impressive. You turn this into a business and I might just hire you to decorate

Right... as I got the centerwoods out of glueing I found that there was quite a grinding as the thickness of woodplanks were not precisely equal. So, that was actually a little mistake in first place. But in this case, it doesn't matter so much. about one hour of grinding and the tabletop looks OK to me. Now I have to glue the carved pieces to both ends and the top of the Noble table is ready.

I will have to weather the table top somehow and I also think that I should strenghten the seams (right word in english... hope so ) of woodplanks by carving or something. now they look too thin don't you think.
