Hmmm....Think I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm pretty sure I get the jist of this. I'll see what I can end up with in half a month, but with school idk how much I'll be able to spend time on it.

Plus Delta kindly encouraged me to, "Getting my ass over to The Story Corner and start getting out some stories." Alas here I am :P

Thanks for telling me Liss, this is a really nice concept but sadly with some new things that came up at work I won't be able to at least participate. On the bright side I will start posting my first story somewhere around mid-December I think. Good luck with this one!

*stumbles in* Did someone say NaNo?

Currently on Frost Moon Part III, and at 8,621 Words! xD Not impressive at all, considering I should be at close to 30k in order to keep up with the goal. HOWEVER, my own personal goal is just to get 5-6 chapters done to wrap up the story, even if that only puts me at 25-30k total by the end of the month. I'll likely continue into December, just using NaNoWriMo as the push I need to keep going!

Sending coffee and emotional support to all Tamriel-NaNoers this year! And to those of you who missed out... See you at Camp? (April 2018!)

That's exactly what I'm doing with NaNo, Fawn. Just using it as a push to get pending projects done. As it stands now, I have over 50k words edited. I could validate my wordcount now, but I will when I start work on Monday, as the computer file that has all the stuff I edited stored in one word document is in my laptop at work.

*Takes offered coffee with a big grin*

And see you at camp NaNo in April. Hopefully, by then I'll be Straaging again. :D

It'll probably take me a while to actually get some sort of work out into the TSC as I really haven't had time between builds and school work, but I'll see what I can come up with in a few days (given i'm not busy) Not saying im getting 50k, pretty sure that is out of the question as of now :P

I'll see what happens when April NaNo camp rolls around :)

That would be great. The requirement is only 10k for Camp NaNo and tends to be our more popular events in TSC. That and AMOSS, A Month of Short Stories, which we'll be hosting again in January, so start thinking about projects.

I'm currently at 72,221 words edited this month, much happiness. You'd be surprised how much work editing is. Wonderful that the results are already being posted and that I can finally keep up, due to this mini vacation, with a certain Lorc who writes super duper fast. :P

Well, 72,488 eidted words later, I validated my word count with NaNo. I just can't do much editing because of grading exams, so I don't see myself addiing more to the count. But I dids it. :D

Thanks to all for their support. It was nice seeing some friendly faces in this thread. You all still have 2 days to get word counts in. Regardless of whether you achieved NaNo's goal or not, if you wrote, you wrote and that puts you one step closer to finishing what you starts. I'd love to hear the progress people made in this thread.

Remember some upcoming Story Corner events...

AMOSS - In January. A month of short stories. We celebrate the small and write stories for the entire month that have a 25k or less word count. They can be posted in multiple parts, but the total word count is only 25k.

Congratulations, Lissette! I am always in awe of your productivity. :) Another win!

I did not win NaNoWriMo this year, and wasn't intending to. Instead, I used it to kickstart my muse and get my focus back onto Frost Moon after a few stops and starts and procrastination days. I have walked away from November with a tidy 15,000 words (roughly 4 or 5 chapters for me), and I haven't stopped yet!

Currently working on chapters 34 and 35. The final chapter should (roughly) be chapter 44, so we're coming up to the finish line soon. If I can keep my momentum going, this first book will be in really really good shape by the end of 2017.

In slightly unrelated news, I will try to be in the story corner more often these days. I miss you guys, and I'm behind on quite a few stories. Expect comments from me in the near future!
