    Hi all. Dean Morrison here, proud Author of the Lutherus Sotasius series.

    Please don't let the title fool you. I'm not here to gloat or brag about my work, it's just that I've noticed a lack of any commentary or feedback with my recent posts on here. I'm sure many of you can appreciate that, getting feedback from others in regards to your work hugely boosts your confidence and morale with your stories. Currently the lack of any has me feeling like I'm only making this story for my self, and not for you lovely people. Again, not meaning to gloat or brag.

    If there is a problem with the site's comment function that is understandable. Otherwise, I would genuinely appreciate some feedback for my story so far.

    Thank you all! :)

    Often I encounter this scenario with members where they cry out for feedback, whether it's good or bad. I myself have progressed as a writer here on the site thanks to feed back from a whole collection of members. Some have read only a few chapters while others have stayed throughout my journey.

    This applies to everyone. I don’t think it matters if it’s in TSC or CB or whatever the group is.

    There are two things you can do to improve and increase the amount of feedback you receive;

    Firstly, have a look at what other members are writing. It's the basic principle of taking an interest in others. By commenting on other members work you will draw them to your own pieces. They will be interested to see what you are writing and the way you portray things and they will often compare it to their own works.

    Reading other writers work is also a great way to improve your own skills. We have a wide and varied collection of people here and each one has had different life changing events. This gives us an unprecedented amount of experience to tap into.

    Secondly is by commenting on other members writing. Expressing your thoughts on the way someone has written a particular piece can be helpful to both yourself and them. I often point out an error if I happen to see it although I have to admit I am cautious as to whether it's an error or just a different writer’s perspective.

    Wasn't actually too long ago that I asked this same question. Only thing I can tell you is that I agree with Sotek. I'm the first to admit I don't read *nearly* as much as I should, which is probably why I don't get much comments on my stuff. Just keep at it, and help other writers out. You'll get a wider audience before long.
