Can we start having as many campfires as DB's house has corners? I like that idea, we could tag each campfire with TSCC (The Story Corner Campfire). I'm thinking Campfires for freakin' everything, tell me what you think.

Anyway, ideas are far more common than stories and I imagine there are a fair few people with ideas that haven't got around to writing them, so I thought I'd set up a campfire where we can talk about stories that haven't even begun -

Take a seat around the fire, share your ideas and hopefully get some friendly advice from others.

Cool idea on the many Campfires, Will! As to half-formed ideas, I have two for the other Alliances in ESO (Ebonheart Pact and Daggerfall Covenant). The first, with the tentative title of Blood for the Pact, will follow a soulless yet patriotic Nord archer and her allies in the Pact, while the other, with the tentative title For Gold and Glory, will follow a soulless, greedy Breton mage and his team of misfits in the Covenant. This is in addition to various ideas for Stories of Dragonblood, most of which aren't as formed as the ESO ideas.

The idea I'm currently working on is the story I will (hopefully) get around to once I've reposted Crossover (which will probably never happen)

The Order of the Black Mane is a story set in Elsweyr around three months after the events of Skyrim. It revolves around a secret organisation with only one mission - to defeat the Thalmor in Elsweyr. The main character is a yet to be decided as I've a choice to make as to which of two characters to make the main. I aim to write around six arcs of around 10/20 chapters (but I probably won't). I'll copy/paste my blurb from my notes:

In 4E 41, His Highness the Mane Ri'kar, known for his jet black fur, was assassinated, nobody knows who killed him - only that he died.

Except one person did know, a close friend of the Mane's was there at the time - the Khajiit Ri'zarn

It was the Thalmor who sent the Assassin, Ri'zarn killed the assassin but was too late to save his friend, he was kidnapped by backup Thalmor soldiers. Ri'zarn was a vampire and was held in a prison on Alinor for 160 years as they experimented on him - his only knowledge of Elsweyr was what the guards gossiped about.

In 4E 192 ten new inmates arrived at the prison - resistance fighters. The eleven inmates bonded as Ri'zarn trained them in secret as the Guards turned their backs - a year later, in 4E 193, the inmates broke out of Alinor Prison and teleported to Elsweyr with the help of the teleportation magico f one of the resistance fighters. They landed back on the warm sands of Elsweyr and The Order of the Black Mane was founded, named in honour of the death that started it all.

The story will be set around the attempts of the Order to defeat the Thalmor in Elsweyr, though there will be an underlying arc that will only raise its' head near the end.
