What's a good build focusing solely on archery for damage? No sneak, no conjuration, no companion to tank things for me. I am willing to pair it with crafting, however I'm just sick of relying on my companions so much but I feel so lonely in skyrim without them.

My favorite by far is the Boiche Seeker. 

It does perk Sneak lightly, but for recon, not combat. It also uses some pretty cool close quarter archery techniques. If you haven't checked it out, give it a read :D

I'm gonna throw three builds your way. One really pertains to the idea of exploration, IMO, and the other two have a lot of exploration in their actual gameplay, though they are more goal-oriented. 

One is Legion's The Curator - it's a neat rp build where exploration is very important. 

The other two are mine. 

The Exterminator - It is a non-sneak build that heavily explores Dwemer ruins and Falmer dens. I'm not a fast-traveler in builds, so there is a lot of exploration as some of the Falmer dens are off the beaten path. 

The Outsider - This one is about Nordic tombs and exploring to find artifacts for a Legacy museum based around the Companions and Nordic culture. It's a two-handed build that does use some sneak archery in the beginning but only because I'm really quite lousy at button-mashing. 

If these don't rock your boat, I'll do some searching for you. I think you'll like Legion's build though. Neat ideas.
