    Putting my admin hat on...

Recently we've had some incidents of content theft, and so this post is make the community aware that such actions will not be tolerated. As of today, there is a new site rule:

8.* Do not repost content from this site:

    1) That is not yours
    2) That you do not have explicit permission to repost
    3) That you do not give proper credit for in the repost

Failing to follow this rule will result in an immediate ban.

If you become aware of any content theft, please contact Edana and I immediately. We respect the community and the content you all create too much to allow theft to go unpunished.

    That is all.

Damn those thieves! I'll see them locked in Dragonsreach Dungeon for this.

Teleport them into the Institute right before the main event!

I was actually a part of that "content theft". I did credit the original user for his idea but I didn't ask for his permission to use it prior posting my comment so I ended up deleting what I contributed to it. My apologies.

Doesn't an instant ban seem a bit harsh? I'm not saying offenders don't deserve a punishment but it'd probably be more fair just to give them a single warning for the first offense and take down their thread but if they do it again they will get banned.

What was taken? Did the thieves have the Perfect Touch perk?

The ban is initially temporary and it comes with a message instructing the person to take down what was stolen. Failing to do so will result in the ban becoming permanent. Otherwise, if the condition is met, the ban is revoked.
