Tamriel Vault 2016 Recap: Social Engine!

A lot of people posted a lot of stuff ever since we've moved to Social Engine. I've noticed however that many things slipped under the radar reason for which I'm starting this topic, a recap of what we've all been up to since the move!

Talk a bit in the comments about what you've posted since Social Engine happened. It can be a character build, a roleplay profile, a new chapter in an on-going story, anything that isn't a work in progress topic.

This year I've been a very productive character builder posting both Skyrim and, to my own surprise, Fallout 4 content. For those of you who are fans of my works and somehow missed my posts here's a detailed list:

    - On the 28-th of September I posted my very first Fallout 4 character build, The Neuromancer. Taking great inspiration from Starcraft's most famous ghost unit, Nova, and one of my favorite cyberpunk books (Neuromancer by William Gibson) I managed to create a super-soldier infiltrator with psychic powers: mind control and telekinesis. Even though I have a love hate relationship with the game, I can say without a doubt in my mind that the Neuromancer is one of the most enjoyable characters I've ever played in my gaming experience.

    - Next up on the 17-th of October I introduced the world to The Wildfoot, my first Skyrim character build posted on Social Engine. I absolutely loved playing this. Taking inspiration from two of my favorite women in fantasy, Avatar's Toph Beifong and DotA 2's Windranger, I came up with a butt kicking cross between a druid and a ranger.

    - With Halloween at my door, I teamed up with WuYiXiang and on the very 31-st of October released another Fallout 4 character build, The Atom Witch. What I absolutely enjoyed about this one was that we contantly pushed the limits of Fallout's world into the supernatural. The result resembled a creature taken straight out of a horror movie!

    - Shortly after, the Skyrim Character Building Group's latest event - Against Type took place. Deciding to throw my hat in the ring, I had a long time idea in the works ready to be published, The Mesmer. This character build, a spellsword illusionist, showed me just how overpowering Vampire Lord can become... those poor living rag dolls.

    - And last but not the least, The Exorcist saw the light of day on the 25-th of November. Having yet another go at Skyrim, I came up with my most unique character build since day 11. This light mage demon hunter, light mage as in a sorcerer capable of bending and solidifying natural light, allowed me to experience the game as if playing it again for the first time. If you feel like you want to play Skyrim yet had many gameplay diverse playthroughs in the past, this build might just give you a refreshing experience

Nowadays I've taken up the mantle of Fallout Character Building Group host and along with Motty, I'm working to make the group a better place. Whenever you have the time, drop by The Fallout Mecha - Armor Combo Catalogue and leave your ideas in the comments!

Daaaaaang, Noodles! After all that, who's going to want to post anything for this thread... anything else pales in comparison xD

I know what you mean about things slipping under the radar, though. I used to get email noticifactions when anything new came across the character building page. Now? Not so much...

Unfortunately, I have not been nearly as productive as you; I've only managed to find the time to restore half the builds I've been assigned (but Mythic is all done now... woo hoo!). I am, however, hoping to get a build up that I wanted to do for the 'Against Type' Event last fall (look for it in a day or so :D)

Umph...Had to browse my Profile history to find what I actually posted...

Alright, so first thing here was that I revamped The Fist of Thalmor I think. Much sexier now. Literally :D Then for the recent Event I got out The Warlock of Orsinium and with Teineeva we did Liturgy of Affliction build based on the book with same name from Shivering Isles.

In Lore I think I did an article on Necromancy, Necromancy: The Great Debate and one more, Legendary Figures: Queen Barenziah - "The Slut of Tamriel"

For Story Corner I did one short story inspired by Phil´s Blogs about faith in Tamriel. Of Drunks and Faith: Akatosh and Nice Arse. Also, very recently I helped the Story Corner to put together The Library.

Between all this, me and Lis were and still are working our asses off on Chasing Aetherius, hoping to finish the story before New Year.

But blah, Jon Noodles did more than me...I guess I´ll have to live with that :D

I've been pretty active after the change I guess.

On September 7, I posted up my first post-Ning build with The Black Dahlia which was a carryover that I was working on at the Ning site and held on to with the pending changes.

October 30th I made my first video foray in the Vault with a mod review for Skyfall Estates, a great housing mod that I can't play without just outside Whiterun.

November 17th I finished up The Dark Druid for our first Event build, Against Type, on the new site.

November 25th I reached a point in my playtesting to post up my current WIP build WIP: Cinq amis' Savos.  That's coming along well and I hope to have it ready in the next few weeks (darn Fallout 4 going on sale..lol).

On December 4th I put up another mod review video, this time for Frostvale Estate.  It's by the same mod maker that did Skyfall Estates but located up near Windhelm.

I've been recently active in the Modder's Conclave and December 20th I put up three video/article reviews of mod's for the Conclave's first Event.  The mods I covered were Live Another Life, Immersive Armors and Enhanced Familiars, a mod I just started playing around with and really like it.
