...where you say like f*** you and such that was an easy pick simply because I would have said the same thing.

HAHA yeah. You know, as much as people complained about the voiced protagonist thing (which I get), they did a pretty damn good job in a lot of the parts with the dialogue and voice acting. Father's vocal responses are some of the best/hardest to handle in the game. IMO. And even though people don't like being forced into 4 options, I actually quite enjoy a lot of it. The main difficulty is if you want to play a really, really evil/dark character. Tough to pull off. Even when you get to Nuka World and start setting up Raider outposts, your character's modd is still way too congenial.

You could go the Josef Mengele or Toffee route, act polite, congenial, and even welcoming to your foes while plotting how to gut 'em

I agree at first I hated the voiced protagonist, but it kind of grew on me and after learning Courtney Taylor did voice I was a little more pleased. I do agree Father's responses do actually have some emotions in them and I thought that was pretty neat. Right, but you can always be a wolf in sheep's clothing, you act kind and then turn around and do evil things in a sense.

I was playing a sort of jack of all trades build with emphasis on base building/crafting, explosives, and stealth. Of course with a build like that I had the Spray 'n Pray, and of course I had a veritable bandolier of grenades for shoving into pockets because that is the most fun thing to do when you can get away with it. I pickpocketed the fusion core out of a looming enemy in power armor, jammed an explosive down the pants of the raider who stepped out of the depowered armor, and then jammed the core back in as the raider exploded behind me and climbed into my new hot rod. A stimpack and jolt of Psychojet later, that build went from stealth to armored facemurder. Anyone who rounded a corner got followed by a grenade, and I stomped through the smoke with my ridiculous Tommy Gun blazing. I gave the armor to my companion along with a shotgun, making Preston the Little John to my wasteland Robin Hood. The two made a regular habit of clearing out the wasteland as they built up settlements across the Commonwealth. I will never forget their Grand Theft Automech, though. That became a signature move, and I passed around a LOT of Power Armor.
