Ah the explosion...one of my favorite parts of the game. To be perfectly honest, I was extremely bummed that the developers didn't make the area closest to the blast have an "aftermath" look. Would've really added to it all and would've made blowing up humanities seemingly last hope at least a little worth it. It's cool how people talk about it in Diamond City but I would've liked to have seen a sequal to the firework show

Ugh, that was one of the things that made me most mad about the game. I SO wish that that area was so irradiated or destroyed that it was virtually inaccessible. I wanted a punishment for destroying the Institute, not just a pat on the back for my altruism and a cool gun or whatever. The game should have reminded me the gravity of what I had just done.
