I guess this really isn’t so much a tip as it is a useful (to me, at least) list, but I think it deserves to be filed under T&T. Anyway, as some of you might have noticed, both Far Harbor and Nuka-World have added an extra perk rank to certain perks, throwing a bit of a curveball at character builders (or maybe just me, I don’t know). Below I’ve compiled a list of perks to which the DLC has added an extra rank, which DLC adds it, the number of that new rank, the new rank’s effect, and the SPECIAL attribute associated with the perk in question:

    Far Harbor Perk Ranks

Strong Back: Rank 5 – When overencumbered, running costs 50% less action points (Strength).
Night Person: Rank 3 – You have 30 extra health between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM (Perception).
Rad Resistant: Rank 4 – You now have +40 Radiation Resistance (Endurance).
Lone Wanderer: Rank 4 – When adventuring without a companion, you have 25 more action points (Charisma).
Scrapper: Rank 3 – You get more from salvaging (Intelligence).
Action Boy/Girl: Rank 3 – Your Action Points now regenerate 75% faster (Agility).
Critical Banker: Rank 4 – You can now save 4 Critical Hits, to be used in V.A.T.S. when you need them the most (Luck).

    Nuka-World Perk Ranks

Steady Aim: Rank 3 – Hip-fire damage is improved when firing any gun (Strength).
Awareness: Rank 2 – Knowing their weakness lets you attack more efficiently. 5% increase to hit chance and damage dealt to VATS targets (Perception).
Ghoulish: Rank 4 – Rad damage will now begin to slowly heal, restoring health in the process (Endurance).
Attack Dog: Rank 4 – When adventuring with your dog, you take 10% less damage (Charisma).
    V.A.N.S.: Rank 2 – Gain +2 to Perception (Intelligence).
Quick Hands: Rank 3 – Quick and efficient. You gain 10 additional Action Points (Agility).
Mysterious Stranger: Rank 4 – The Mysterious Stranger appears more often in V.A.T.S. When he kills an opponent, there is a high chance your Critical meter gets filled (Luck).

Anyway, that’s all of them, one new perk rank for each of the SPECIAL attributes for each DLC. I originally made this list for my own benefit, but thought I’d post on the site in case anyone else is able to make use of it. Feel free to do so.

Which do you think are most useful?

Thanks Albino, I'd certainly miss this. I suck at spotting these little details.

I'm especially happy with Rad Resistant, Lone Wanderer, Scrapper and Action Boy. The extra ranks will be useful once I start my first Survival playthrough.

Critical Banker strikes me as the most useful, with Lone Wanderer and Action Boy probably being the next best.

    No problem

I agree with Albino here, Critical Banker and Action Boy seem extremely useful. Gives me an idea for a character just thinking about it, actually. A high P build with something like Rifleman would be soooooo deadly with those perks.

Update: As Nuka-World added additional perk ranks in the same manner that Far Harbor did, I added the Nuka-World perk ranks to the list.
