Here's the E3 trailer for 'Contraptions', 'Vault Tec Workshop' and 'Nuka World'

    Thoughts?

If I hadn't bought the season pass I  probably wouldn't buy either Contraptions (I don't see the point, besides elevators) or Vault-Tec (I can't accept that. How are we able to build Vaults exactly like they were built before the war? Next thing we'll be able to rebuild the entire country and nuke it all again!).

However, I've got to admit that Vault-Tec will open some interesting storytelling possibilities, and I can see an alternate start mod paired with it doing wonders...

Now Nuka World is a different story, that's the kind of DLC Bethesda should be focusing on. As someone mentioned in the comments of the video you posted, it gave me a New Vegas vibe, and that can only be a good thing.

Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride!

Honestly, I'm not interested in Contraptions or Vault-Tec, particularly when modders have already beaten Bethesda to the punch to some extent on those. I'm guessing they're the Automatron and Wasteland Workshop of this round of DLC. Nuka World, on the other hand, looks like it will be the Far Harbor of this round of DLC, and therefore much more interesting. I doubt it'll unseat Far Harbor as my favorite Fallout 4 DLC thus far, but who knows?

I'm interested in Vault-Tec, not for the ability to build Vaults, but for the ability to build underground. Just having that opens up so much. We can potentially build underground settlements or bunkers for when raiders or the like attack. And lets not forget all the smaller stuff that it will add, that we can use in non-vault settlements. Based on what the other dlc have added to the workshop, there's bound to be more then just vaults pieces added.

Then there Contraptions with it's elevators and hopefully cable cars. Then there's the potential for overly elaborate traps, that we can set up for raiders and the like.  That combined with the cages from wasteland workshop could allow for some very interesting things. Just imagine an arena filled with these traps, which we can then loose raiders or deathclaws into for our own amusement.

Oh and Nuka World... that's a thing

    Automatron v2

His special attack is spitting out Mickey Mouse ripoffs called Dickey Mouses. Also comes with a new crafting station where you can make formulaic but high-grossing movies to show at Starlight Drive-in.

Modders did beat out Bethesda, but let's be honest, the vault-crafting mod is insanely limited and buggy, at least the version I played.
