WiP: FO4 Event Build: Raven

Testing out an idea for presentation formatting. It seemed like a brilliant idea at first, but i'm starting to think its just going to be illegible.

    Research Log

    Nathan “Raven” Carlick

    Knight – Brotherhood of Steel

General of a Commonwealth militia group, The Minutemen

At the request of Elder Maxon, I have compiled a comprehensive report, including all known documentation of the aforementioned subject, Nathan Carlick; aka, Raven.

While the subject remains a member of the Brotherhood of Steel in good standing, he has displayed a willingness to act on his own, even against orders. With the influence he wields throughout the commonwealth area, Elder Maxon feels, and I agree, that he is too dangerous of an individual for us to be unaware of his capabilities. The following is a collection of documents recovered from pre-war facilities throughout the commonwealth, in addition to interviews with persons of interest.

    Proctor Quinlan

Document Recovered: Fort Strong – The Commonwealth

Excerpt of the unfinished memoirs of Colonel Harland Wicks

    United States Army

Incident Report – Recovered from Fort Bannister – Capital Wasteland

    United States Army

108th Infantry Regiment – Armored Division

    Major Ron Wutheford

    Recovered from Vault Tec Headquarters

    Old Boston - Commonwealth

*Note: it has become apparent that the subject's contition has improved since initial testing. adjusted scores noted in red.

Recovered from National Guard Training Center - Commonwealth

    Competency Evaluation Review

It's cool...but yeah maybe idk...a little hard to read/follow. some of it's too small.

but damn creative and a helluva backstory bud

Did you print out a picture for that last one and then write on it?

Seems like an interesting method, but reiterating what Motty said a little bit on the hard side to read

Specificially: The second document's description section is a little small for me, and the last one's writing is a bit on the smaller (a little illegible) side

That being said i read all of it, but that's my problem

Ok, I think I can clean them up and make them work. I wanted the second one to look handwritten, but the combination of the font, and the aging just clouds it up.

The last one, I just tried to be too authentic. Government forms are always poorly spaced for what you need to write. if I space it out a little better, and write a little more legibly, it think i can make it work.

I still have a lot of work to do. I have field interviews to write, and I have to get back in to play the character again and get some reconnaissance photos.

Ok, first of all, love the story from the second picture. I think however that it could look a lot better if you put the text in the discussion and align the eagle picture to the left. Here, it would come out as something like this:

    Report: ###

    Department: -----

    Reporting Officer: ______

    Activity: Recon Patrol

    Insert story here

Also, the special spread is a stroke of genius! :D

Ok, made some changes. I think it loks a lot better. Still have a lot of writing to do. Trying to present the whole story, but in third party clips and interviews, so it's taking a long time for me to write.

I like the improvements Daryl! Keep up the brilliant work (much easier to read certain documents now) :P

added a few more images just to check formatting.

I have a little proofreading still to do, and a couple more images to edit.
