Mercurias said: Dropping off one. Unprincipled, morally black swordsman who wishes to claim every one of the named swords, daggers, and greatswords in Skyrim as a means of fulfilling his Dragonborn duty and stopping Alduin. I had him walking about with the Guildmaster's Armor/hood, Dark Brotherhood Gloves/Boots, and an enormous pile of health to keep him standing after his first sneak attack. Skills I used were one handed, two handed, block, sneak, light armor, and smithing.

Have you seen the Nightingale Swordsman by Ponty? It's one of the old classics on this site, and your idea and his feel really similar (it might just be the morally black swordsman part, but still).

So I recently am unable to work on any of my build ideas as I have became bored with Skyrim and Fallout 4, but I can't find the notes I made for the Fallout 4 builds, so I am hoping someone on here will be able to get my projects up and runing maybe see the light of day.

    Skyrim builds

Nosferatu Vampire build, which is dunmer vampire build that is grotesque in apperacne, I can provide the sliders for such. The lore is basicaly the Nosferatu clan are a tribe of primitave and barbic vampires from Morrowind, they are followers of Molag Bal and look to enslave all non vampires, and vampires who don't follow their ideas. Main skills are Electromancy, Alteration (Flesh Spells and Teleknises), and Illusion (Invisiblity and Muffle) Minor Skills are Restration, Conjuration (Raise Dead spells), and Enchanting.

Dragonborn build, which a Argonian build. The lore behind this some what based on the Dragonborn from DnD, so if you don't want to look that up basically, these group of Argonians beileve they are the modern day decendants of Dragons. Skills vary as each different color of dragons have different abilites/skills.

The argonian build, i've got an idea for that, i'll adopt that , its a cool idea, i can't believe i've never thought of it, however, the vampire im not adopting, i dont have any ideas for that to do any lore & such, but  I HEARBY ADOPT THE ARGONIAN DRAGONBORN BUILD

    Hi Guys,

This is not so much of a build idea as opposed to a mod idea, in light of the recent event.
I'm hoping someone would pick up one of these ideas and work on the mod ideas am proposing, since am no modder myself.

    • Mod Idea:
      • Banks in Skyrim

    • Why is it needed?
      • There was once a mod called Banks of Skyrim
      • It didn't produce any hier or offspring and died
      • There is now a vacumm

    • What does it do?
      • Allows storage of items in each hold
      • Allows srtorage of septims
      • Centralized distribution (meaning store in whiterun, accesible in markarth)
      • Allows investments into the shops of different vendors
      • Allows profits of investments to be collected
      • Allows for the following loans for the dragonborn:
        • Personal (targetted at early gear purchase)
        • Property (Targetted at the dragonborn who wants to purchase property but short on funds)
        • Allows exchange of Gold Ingots for Septims and Vice Versa.

    • Mod Idea:
      • Interactive Followers

    • Why is this needed?
      • There are a great number of mods that expand on followers
      • Most of them focus on inventory management and text based interactions, similar to talking to an NPC
      • When having more than 1 follower for a group set up, they're still drones who follow.
      • Mods like FCO and RDO do not help much, given that interaction is with the dragonborn only and not with each other.

    • What does it do?
      • Uses exsisting vanilla voice lines to formulate interaction between followers.
      • Similar to Dragon age follower set up
      • Example:
        • Dragonborn + Mjoll + Erandur (typical Tank, dps & healer set up)
        • Snarky dialogue between erandur & Mjoll, given nords sorta hate dark elves
        • Relationship improves over time as Erandur saves mjoll's ass more than once with healing spells
        • Dialogue becomes much more civil, albeit, constrained.

I'll try to add more, depending on the feedback recieved from these 2 ideas.

    Thanks.

    Best Regards,

Thought I'd dump an idea, I've already got another build I'm working on and initial tests of this make it seem a bit over-powered so I'm not sure if I want to commit to playing it. If anyone wants it, it's up for grabs:

Something like: Death and all his Friends, due to an ongoing bone weapon/armor theme, and because it's a party-based build

Idea: A Battle Fury Necromage Vampire build, with Battle Fury seemingly very under-utlised in builds, plus the fact it lasts ages compared to Elemental Fury. Only characters with unenchanted weapons can benefit from Battle Fury (just tested this with Ralis, as the wikis have conflicting info), so what does that leave us with, outside of normal followers? Riekling Warriors recruited from random encounters count as pets and can equip great swords, so theres a good candidate right there. Also Wrathmen use unenchanted Dragonbone weapons, so they should hopefully work two (though please note, I haven't tested either of these two - but as they class as using a weapon, unlike say the Dwemer Sphere you can get, I don't think their should be any problem).

Who would be the best human follower for this? I would say Ralis Sedarys. He's one of the only followers with Dual Flurry in the game, but crucially he is the only follower that gets "Extra Damage 2" - which is how followers get more damage rather than taking things like Armsman. It's worth noting that Rieklings also have "Extra Damage 2" as well as "Critical Hit", meaning the Riekling Warrior should outdamage most human followers (apart from Ralis, of course). As mentioned, I tested Ralis just now with Battle Fury, and he attacks insanely fast - literally mincing hoards of guards.

In terms of weapons, give Ralis and the Riekling two Dragonbone Swords and a Dragonbone Great sword respectively, and they should tear enemies to shreads, especially with two Wrathmen in tow. Bardic Knowledge with Illusion buffs (Necromage Vampire angle) should turn them all into borderline crack addicts in terms of their combat potential. You could also use poisons with beneficial effects + Companions' Insight buffing too, but it won't effect the Wrathmen with them being undead.

Fleshing the rest of it out: I would deck everyone out in bone gear, with Ralis and the Riekling in Dragonscale which is a bit boney (you don't see the armor on the Riekling, but the warriors wear a sabrecat skull already), and yourself in Dragon Plate with a Cultist Mask. Casting you solidly in a support role, the player character should ideally be minimally damaging - maybe using the Skull of Corruption to keep with the bone theme. Another fun yet only slightly damaging combo is Blood of the Ancients Vampiric Drain - if you dual cast it and use a +300% Destruction potion from the standard loop vampires can get a 40 health/stamina/magicka drain on all living enemies.

Backstory: Something losely around you being a bone/soul collector, and loving the thrill of watching grisly battles - like each battle you watch is a gladitorial spectacle. A morbid and cruel vampire - you know the drill.

    --------

As mentioned, my main reservations are this would actually be too powerful, and make combat dull. Possibly an appropriate balance can be made, pulling away from a bone theme and maybe Necromage Vampire entirely, but I wouldn't be sure where to take it. Have fun!

Hello all! Seems like everyone here has at some time or another at least once had an idea and started with great intentions on a spectacular thought and then for whatever reason life threw them a curveball or 3 and the build never finished. Here's a thought that I would be willing to partake in - what about doing a collaboration of sorts with at least one other person here? (could be the unfinished WIP, could be a start from scratch, up to you) I imagine it being story/lore driven with identical beginnings up to a specific point for each builder, and then they each take off on their own from there with the completion of both the character and the story, all the while keeping the "second half" of their build secret from the other(s). Each builder then releases their individual creation at the same time for all to enjoy and get two (or more) different perspectives from the same beginning. This would help each other have a constant motivation to finish what they started, with somewhat of a deadline, instead of all these great ideas that end up in limbo and no one benfits from them.

Would love to hear what everyone thinks and any constructive criticism and feedback would be great.
