Alright. Well, I'll just post it here. A fair warning that at least one of these is based on Morrowind, which I have...little experience with. But here we go.

Justin from Grandia(Have not beaten the game, but I think I have a decent understanding. Would be a Man race, potentially Imperial or Breton. One Handed, Alteration, Destruction, Restoration, and maybe Block or Light Armor for skills.)

Dragoon(The class for Morrowind, all I know is that Spear and Acrobatics would play big roles.)

Either Ordinator or Buoyant Armiger. I'd probably go for the latter since Glass Armor is a thing in the other games, and I don't have to worry about people wanting me DEAD like the Ordinators do.

And the last would probably only work in Skyrim...Ahzidal. Dragonborn DLC required, would most likely have to be a Nord, focus on Enchanting, Heavy Armor, Conjuration and....who knows what else.

Aaaand that's all I got tbh. Feel free to let me know your thoughts. :D

EDIT: If I was supposed to post these somewhere else, I apologize.

Ordinator! You have my 100% baacking and support :D But a Buoyant Armiger is just as cool. Sulky and surly vs jovial and jubilant... tough call. Do both!

Lol. To be honest, only reason I'm kinda hesitant to do Ordinator in Morrowind, is because from what I heard, they'll all want you dead the moment they see you wearing Ordinator Armor. Though I suppose I could try to find a replacement in Oblivion or Skyrim.

Ah, yeah. Bonelord would know more about Classic builds, but an Ordinator in Skyrim would be fun... if Ordinator's are capable of fun, that is. Maybe growling at people is fun. I have a soft spot for them regardless :D However, an Armiger would be a little easier. We have one, Henson's I believe, but with things like Become a Bard mod I think there is room for more of Vivec's Knights on this site.

I might need to meet this Bonelord person tbh. I think the only real problems I can see are as follows.

1.) I do not have enough info for these builds of mine that I'd be able to post something akin to the builds I see on this site. Call it jealousy or whatever, but...they'd be very small and barebones. IDK if I'd be able, or allowed, to make posts in The Workshop with these ideas unless they're fleshed out.

2.) I don't really know how to work with this...forum format thingamafrig. So pics and stuff might take a bit to get used to.

3.) I just recently started Morrowind up(Goin Redguard) and I'm trying to put the problems I have had in the past aside so I can learn how the game works and accurately try and make characters.

4.) TBH....I play Skyrim on consoles. Granted, it's on PS4...But I'm still going to be very limited in what I can do, mod-wise. Maybe when i get a decent computer, I'll pick up Skyrim on Steam.

Eh, maybe I'm just overreacting. I just want to be able to make some good builds, is all. Any tips and advice, from how to make a good build, to ideas involving the build ideas I have currently, would be appreciated.

@CobaltGale; First I would like to say welcome to the Vault its great to see a new face interested in character builds.  As one of the hosts for Skyrim CB I'm encouraged to see new people with an interest in participating and contributing to the community.

As far as some of your concerns go.

    1.  We all start somewhere and i believe there is no "minimum requirement" for the workshop, only that you need to be activly working on your project, i think it's after two weeks if nothing is going on with your WIP then it will be deleted otherwise i think it can be there indefinatly as you hammer things out.

    2. There is definatly a learning curve though to be honest I find this site much easier to post things on than many other sites, is it the best? probably not but sure ain't the worst.  I find that really it just takes some getting used too, like a new video game you just need to take the time and learn the controls.

    3. Never played any of the earlier TES games (started with Skyrim) so I really can't help you there bu the Classics group should be able to help.

    4. I still play on my 360 but I've found that creative use of the system can achieve alot of varied playstyles.

Finally your last request for tips and adivce I recommend reading this Guide to Character Building and this Character Build Template to give you a spring board into how to construct a build.

    Good luck!

ERRR so both links go to the same place however you can find a link to the template at the bottom of the guide.  I tried fixing the second link but it refuses to change sorry if that's confusing.

Thank you, friend. i'm gonna have to try this out. TBH, I'll probably end up either focusing on other games and forgetting to play Elder Scrolls...Or I'll play Elder Scrolls and completely forget that I'm trying to make a build. Lol.

Hwo does this look for a barbarian who uses fur armor and Daedric weapons? https://skyrimcalculator.com/build/454841/barbarian/perks

Really can't answer your question in any meaningful way without knowing what you are trying to do with the character since choices that seem odd to me might make perfect sense within the confines fo the build.  However just looking at the perk spread raises some questions for me.

First how do you get Daedric weapons?  Level 32 is too low for them to be found as loot.  The only other ways i know of are to make them yourself via Smithing or the Atronach forge however those methods require 100 Smithing or 100 Conjuration.

Second you perk Archery, One handed, and two handed.  This seem like overkill to me.  I think you would be better off focusing on a single form of melee, either the dual wieldig character or the two handed/ quick reflexes character.  Right now you are diluting your character making someone who is mediocre at archery, one handed, and two handed instead you could make someone who is awsome at archery and two handed or archery and one handed.

Third Restortaoin you spend two perks in Recovery which seem wasted if your only magic is healing the respite and regen perks are really all you need if magicka is still a problem you'd be better served taking the Apprentice and Adept perks instead of recovery. Honestly the only reason I ever take recovery is to get Avoid Death.

Finally I don't see the point of perking pickpocket at all for this character.  It seems like you just wanted extra pockets which again seems like overkill since barbarians would already have hich stamina for power attacks (high stamina = high carry capacity)

Of course you might have very good reasons for making the choice you made but from your description and the perk spread i can't see them.

Hi all - it's my first post/question ever, so feel free to correct me if I'm off topic or posting in the wrong place :)

For a long time I've been thinking about doing a build based on The Story of Lyrisius - I'm thinking something like a champion of Mephala-ish meets the Blades
In the story he ends up getting turned into a raven, so I'm gonna name him Lyrisius Ravenlord - his ancient foe would be Alduin.

I'm gonna enchant a Fearstruck, enchant a Goldbrand (since there are no spears), and use the Ebony Mail. As for the rest of the gear, I'm thinking Blades boots and gloves and maybe the Jagged Crown as a headpiece. Throw on a dagger as well, story related.

He is going to roll in heavy armor, use one handed, block, speech (how else would you manage to lie to a dragon?), smithing and enchanting

    Other than that I'm lost...

I'm on a PS3 so I have a hard time planning ahead or quickly testing the build/equipment/skillset...

    My doubts:

    Story-wise:

    - The story takes place in Akavir - how would they end up in Skyrim?

    - It happened in the first era - what race would be viable? I was gonna make him Dunmer, but they weren't around back then..?

    - Roleplaying - I have absolutely no ideas whatsoever of how to roleplay a soldier - maybe an officer/royal kind of guy?

    Build-wise:

    - Skills - what do I lack?

    - Shouts?

    ...

You guys think this could turn into something?

I should probably get started on my character ideas, shouldnt I?

To be honest, between FFXIV, other games, and general laziness, I havent really been playing Elder Scrolls.

On the plus side, I did come up with a character idea. a Khajit monk, based on the Whispering Fang that's mentioned in the Dark Brotherhood quest. IDK what I'd do with it, build wise.
