Thanks Wu.  I'll check those out.  Too bad SKSE isn't out for SE yet.

Agreed. :( It's the main reason I quit playing Skyrim SE and reverted to Skyrim LE.

I have found really nicely edited skills symbols on Google, just by typing it but would it be right to use them?

Sorry for double posting but I really wonder. How long does the whole build making progress take for you? How much do you work on a daily base?

That should be fine if I understand right, people use other people's art all the time and it's fine.

For me it's fairly regular, every other day or so, and I work on it for 1-2 hours a day, because I find that if you can;t get into writing something it doesn't turn out great. In terms of how long it takes altogether, it varies massively from person to person. A month is all some people need, but some of the most experienced people work on a concept for a year or more.

A year? That's amazing. Thanks for the answers Zonnonn. I was little concerned that I was spending too little time on the build and I didn't want to spend more either.

Need some help with Vampirism and the Illusion tree.  Not really worried about undead but more getting Frenzy spells to work on higher level creatures.  What'perks do I NEED to take and is there anything particular that has to be done BEFORE or AFTER becoming a vampire to maximize the effect on the Illusion tree spells?

    Hey John,

To my knowledge, you don't need to worry about the BEFORE or AFTER becoming a vampire to maximize the effects from the Illusion tree. However, if you are perking Necromage, I do believe you should take the perks that INCREASE the effectiveness of the Illusion Spells (Kindred Mage etc), after taking Necromage. I do believe they will have even stronger....

Scrap that, even if you are taking Necromage, you have nothing to worry about as the Spells will be increased in 'power' against Undead, using the Necromage perk, and it would be even stronger with Vampirisim due to Illusion Spells being 25% stronger, (theoritically that is, can't test it as computer is doing a check disk).

Also, something I just realised with Dual Casting and Fury... Dual Casting the Novice Fury spell without any enchaning potions or perks, can effect enemies up to level 13, adding in Animage it goes up to level 31, Rage to level 39, Animage and Rage to level 57, Kindred Mage and Rage to LEVEL 61! Don't believe me?

That is without Potions or Vampirism. Still don't believe me? Try it out and check out here for Fury, Calm and Fear! However, the sad thing is Fury, Fear and Calm don't have an AOE. If they did though... Imagine the possiblities.

So...I'm new here, and I don't really have much set in stone in terms of character ideas. Would it be possible for me to just make a small list with the character ideas I had as well as the things I have FOR said character ideas, or would I have to wait and make sure I have enough info to meet like...specific requirements or something.

  • February 10, 2017

That sounds fine to me Cobalt, there are no requirements here in the Workshop so if what you've got is a collection of ideas feel free to post them.

Alright. Well, I'll just post it here. A fair warning that at least one of these is based on Morrowind, which I have...little experience with. But here we go.

Justin from Grandia(Have not beaten the game, but I think I have a decent understanding. Would be a Man race, potentially Imperial or Breton. One Handed, Alteration, Destruction, Restoration, and maybe Block or Light Armor for skills.)

Dragoon(The class for Morrowind, all I know is that Spear and Acrobatics would play big roles.)

Either Ordinator or Buoyant Armiger. I'd probably go for the latter since Glass Armor is a thing in the other games, and I don't have to worry about people wanting me DEAD like the Ordinators do.

And the last would probably only work in Skyrim...Ahzidal. Dragonborn DLC required, would most likely have to be a Nord, focus on Enchanting, Heavy Armor, Conjuration and....who knows what else.

Aaaand that's all I got tbh. Feel free to let me know your thoughts. :D

EDIT: If I was supposed to post these somewhere else, I apologize.
