Welcome to Classics dear readers, we have for you today a Creature Feature from the ES Classic Game Morrowind, this is just a selection of the beasties willing to bite, stick, or sting you in this wonderful game

    e

First up is the Daedric winged Twilight, this creature in Female form is usually a messenger of the Deadra prince Azura, and is capable of doing 15-45 points of Melee damage to the player, and if killed will give up a Grand Soul.

Ha! next on the list is the Cliff Racer, anyone who has played Morrowind will remember these awful pests, who prefer to swarm the player with multiple attacks, Cliff Racers are aggressive, dangerous flying creatures with a large sail-like membrane along their spine, their endless squawking threatening to drive the player insane, they appear from level 4 onwards.

Next in line is the Nix Hound, a medium sized arthropod, fairly innocent on its own, but could be dangerous when hunting in packs, variants include the Blighted Nix-Hound, these creatures are found in the Bitter Coast region of Morrowind.

Last but not least in this first part of the feature we have the humble Scrib, this is the larval for of the Kwama, the creatures kept in Egg Mines, while not really dangerous the Scrib can and does Paralyze the player, these funny little creatures can be found in not only Egg Mines but roaming the vast Ashland's of Morrowind itself.

We hope you enjoyed meeting some of the creatures from Morrowind, please leave a comment or a like, or both if that's your thing, there will be more like this to come in the future. Thank you for reading.

Pretty cool, Bones! Lots more creatures to feature so am looking forward to the next one. Your nix hound has reminded me of a character I have wanted to make for a while, a Dunmer knight like The Hound from GoT. The Nix Hound of the King. He'd likely be a cheerful soul :|

Cliff racers. Damn, that squawking. Plus the missing when you attack. Half hour spent swinging a sword and hearing that awful noise, only to walk 100 steps after and encounter another two of the flying nasties :D

These enemies look so damn good (well, interesting, graphics obviously are a little dated). If only my PC could run games, I'd snatch up Morrowind in a heartbeat.

Morrowind sounds like a rather unfortunate place to live what with all the winged demons, packs of angry wildlife, and paralysis inducing bugs. Fire bolts seem like a necessary survival tool here. Lots of them.
