I think its to make them more ¨evil¨ or because they use Bound Weapons and summon Atronachs

Yes, I understand why people do it, but that doesn't make it look less silly. It's much like saying that Bosmer are vegans XD

My first ever TES character was an Imperial Agent because I trusted Baurus' advice. It was a total disaster of a toon and by level 12 was unplayable to this noob. He became a vampire because I didn't know how to cure his disease, he levelled pretty poorly because I prioritised speechcraft and mercantile above combat, the upshot of all that was that I fled into a cave to avoid TES IV's harsh sunlight. Unfortunately my character was far better at talking than sneaking and disturbed a troll in the cave and was downright shit at fighting. My experience ended in a catch 22 of sorts.

    Cheers Baurus.

"You seem like experienced Agent. Am I right?"

Lol, Phil, and you believed him. Now I won´t be able to sleep

It was my first ever Oblivion character! How could I know he was a lying troll? Never again did I make that mistake. Strangely though, I always did my best to keep him alive right the way through to the end.

Ha, I always tried to keep him alive too. Though it´s kinda hard on higher difficulties during the Battle of Bruma. I´m telling you, that battle is one helluva mess.

If you revive him using the console everyone still treats him as though he's dead, so he'll be walking around Cloud Ruler Temple and you'll get blades talking about his death along with his sword being hung up with the others.

My first character in every TES game has been an Argonian. Lizards are cool, what other rpg's even have reptilian races, let alone as a playable species? They're so colorful too.

First characters never had any backstories though, didn't bother coming up with one. In Oblivion and Morrowind, my first characters were both warrior types. In contrast to Skyrim where my very first character was a sort of spellsword.

Like a sentient zombie Baurus? Creepy. I guess it makes no real difference, come the end the characters seem to have no further interest in the character and so finishing the MQ normally marks the end of my character's adventures.
