@Deathclaw @Lawrence Cooper the necromage perk will affect any enchants being used by the player and against the player, and spells being used against the player. This is changed if you use the unofficial patch though

@Laurence Cooper

I haven't tested this, but since Necromage only affects spells targeting you, the staff should only have greater power with AOE spells that can hit you, and I'm not entirely sure any of them do. It would've been cool though.

On a side note, I think questions are meant to go in the discussion. You might get a faster reply if you post there.

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone knows if the Necromage perk applies to someone using staves?  Since its casting the spell, I wasn't sure if it would work and if it does it might be an interesting way to play?

So, I know that there was some confusion over where Fallout tips and tricks go, so now that I've gotten a final answer from Paul, I'd like to clear that up. Fallout tips and tricks are to be posted in Vault 111, at least until an actual Fallout Tips and Tricks Group is made.

I've been wondering - If you created and drank a powerful fortify restoration potion (like, strong enough to make "healing" heal more than 30-50 per second), casted "healing" in one hand, and equilibrium (25 health to 25 Magicka, scales with difficulty) in the other, would you be able to recover both health and Magicka at once?  Would this work with the "Respite" perk (Makes Healing spells restore Stamina)?  I'd love for someone to test this and reply back if it works.  Thanks in advance .

P.S.  If this isn't the right place to ask, it'd be great if you could direct me.  Still trying to figure out where everything is .

The Questions/Requests thread has hit (and passed) 150 pages! Well done, folks. I'm confident in saying that thread is the single most comprehensive and accurate resource for Skyrim tips and tricks on the Internet. Thanks to everyone who has contributed there, and to everyone who will continue to contribute as we close in on 2,000 replies, then 200 pages ... and who knows where we'll go from there?!

In the future use the Questions/Requests Discussion for this kind of question. That link shows a couple of ways to do it and the comments have a few more.

Since I play Ps3 StabsMany/backs. I can confirm you will have to download the DLC again as well as the patch.
