Recently, I've bought myself a new PC. I've installed Skyrim and went to the main folder of the game. I pressed the enable data file but it didn't work. My files didn't get enabled. Now, I can't start my mods or the DLC. Is there a way to fix this. I'm using Win 10 by the way.

Try going to your Documents folder. There should be a folder called My Games, and in there, a folder called Skyrim. Go in there, and open the file called SkyrimPrefs.ini in Notepad or something similar. Find the line that says bEnableFileSelection, and check that it equals 1. If not, replace the 0 with a 1. Let me know if this works!

Yeah do what Tenebrous said go into Documents - My Games - Skyrim - SkyrimPrefs.ini and there under the [Launcher] you should have bEnableFileSelection=1 if this line doesn't exist under [Launcher] just add it there save and go open your data files from the launcher.

It didn't work. I decided to just focus on Fallout 4 for the next few weeks.

At least the Fallout side of my brain is happy.
