we do have a fighting arena like "the Thorn" in the trailer.

Based on the player's title of sole survivor, it would seem that the we'll be the only one in the vault we come out of, so basically we already have our own personal batcave

Honestly, think Boone but slightly more evil. Not full blown "blow up megaton" evil, but still not a nice guy. Modeled loosely after me, probably a wanderer with a few hideouts set up around often traveled places. Probably named "Ralph". I almost always have at least one playthrough named Ralph in Fallout games. Not much to it.

Wow, I didn't know about the existence of such a tool! Thanks for sharing it here.

It seems like balance is going to be a vital part of the game if people want to try and experience the whole thing in a single playthrough, though I doubt that's possible. For my first character, he'll likely have similar stats to te setup you showed us, though with less luck and more agility/endurance or strength.

True, but I have a feeling I wouldn't want to go back there. We still don't know what happened, but it can't have been something good...

The similarity with Boone is there, considering that like him you also lose your wife and you are both veterans.

Lol, I didn't even think of that. I was just thinking about the silent, foreboding, intimidating type thing.

    I see, a sniper too?

It depends. I like the idea of snipers but find assault rifle etc to be more fun for gameplay. I'll probably make a sniper first and then make another that is more about shooting quick than accurate. Both with a side arm and a combat knife, or for the sniper I might replace the side arm with throwing weapons if available. I once made a sniper based entirely on the Old World Blues protonic throwing axes.

    I am like that.

If a assault rifle could also fire in Semi-auto I would be happy.

That would be cool, Mathias. Talking about guns and snipers, I wonder if we'll finally be able to "hold breath" in a Fallout game.

    it is a possibility.

They should change the game and include a "breath properly" mechanic. I'm being a nit-picky jackass, but you're supposed to exhale slowly. Even Isran said so and crossbows are advanced technology!

I'm really curious about Luck, which is a little strange because I rarely, if ever, take Luck perks; New Vegas may had had a bad influence on me, since Luck let you straight up run the casinos, and I loved raking in that money. I hope it doesn't become a dump stat.

What do you mean by mechanic? Like some Kinect stuff? (I really don't know a lot about Kinect, except that it works for Just Dance)

If I'm not mistaken, in Alien: Isolation (great game btw) if you make noises, like talking, near the device, be it Kinect or something similar, you can be detected by the Alien or other enemies.

To answer this speculation, it has indeed been confirmed that you can hold your breath while firing certain weapons in the new game.

    I remember hearing about that.

Good, though which weapons other than snipers would we need to hold our breaths?

Couldn't tell ya. I know it sounds weird to say "certain weapons", but with the weapon crafting thing, it's hard to say what specific attribute will attach the breathing mechanic. Could be anything with an x magnifcation scope. Could be any non-automatic rifle. Or it could just be snipers XD

I just meant that the "press bttuon to hold breath" mechanic should be changed to a "press button to exhale slowly mechanic" to (not actually) appease the half a percent of players who care about such a thing.  That's it.

I'm surprised nobody said they're going to play as Trevor from GTA V, considering he is already a character preset!

It'll be too soon if I ever hear about Trevor from GTA V again.

The internet's general fixation with him is just kinda annoying.
